Also, almost got evicted watching Band of Brothers on Blu Ray at 3 AM on Friday... Surround sound will do that... Not a movie, but worth every penny.

Cue artillery fire

I have the collection on DVD and love that series! I was in Normandy a few years ago and took the "Band of Brothers" tour and it was awesome. I was stationed in Italy for almost 4 years, so I got to see alot of places in Europe and alot of the WWII sites. Band of Brothers is one my ALL-time favorites but I know how loud the sound can be turned up on my Bose surround system. lol.

From the movie "Shoot Em Up"

DQ: Why don't you take the baby to the police?
Mr. Smith: I can't go to the police.
DQ: Why not?
Mr. Smith: I'm the Unabomber.
DQ: They caught the Unabomber.
Mr. Smith: That's what they think.

Also a must see for all you tongue in cheek action shoot-em-up lovers is the movie "Shoot Em Up." Absolutely hilarious and fun. Clive Owen and Monica Bellucci.

Monica Bellucci. MMMMMM

Monica Belluscci is, simply put, one of the most attractive women to ever step foot on this planet. It's very nearly ridiculous how perfect her looks are.

Friggen add to Kate Beckinsale's unreal and illegal beauty - her genius level IQ. Oxford student (New College)

Also:

Natalie Portman. (Harvard)

Jodie Foster. (High school valedictorian and Yale)

Cindy Crawford. (High school valedictorian and Northwestern scholarship)

Rachel McAdams. I love her. (Honor grad from York University in Toronto). I love her.

Salma Hayek. Rumor has it she wants to take me out for coffee.

Moon is a great movie, That and Children of Men are easily some of the best Sci-Fi films in years. Fun fact, the director of Moon is David Bowie's son

So I am goin to a double feature of Paranormal Activity 1 and 2, for only 3 dollars.

If anyone is interested i'll let ya'll know how it goes when I get back tonight. The 1st one was pretty good, considering I think the budget was only $11,000.

Scary damn movie... I didn't like fact they didn't lead onto the fact it was about demon possession.

I feel like I need to be aware if I'm going to be dealing with spiritually oriented movies. There are very weak minds that walk into those movie theatres. They need to advertise properly.

That being said, it scared the **** out of me.

For anyone that cares, just got back from the double feature of Paranormal Activity 1 and 2.

If you liked part 1 then part 2 is ten times better in my opinion.

Does the dog get harmed in the movie? My girlfriend won't go with me unless she knows 100% that the dog doesn't get hurt. Lol

I don't want to give too much of the movie away, but whatever happens to the dog you don't see it

Just saw Little Miss Sunshine for the 1st time today. I didn't think I'd like it, but it's actually a really good movie

"A Clockwork Orange." Would assume there are a fair number of Catholics on this board. Strange as it may seem, this movie addresses some of the core principles of the faith. Didn't really get that till I read Burgesses' book and his comments of disappointment that so many people couldn't look past the "ultra-violence" to the deeper points he was trying to explore.

Little Miss Sunshine was OK but it seemed to try too hard for me

I was Alex from a Clockwork Orange for Halloween 2 years ago

BTW all Criterion Collection DVD/Blu Rays are 50% off at Barnes & Noble right now

If you don't know what Criterion Collection is, you don't belong in this thread
