I want one! But make mine say "Green with Envy" in the middle of a pot leaf. I would pay 25.00 for that tshirt. LOL

I'm in. Really love the look, and also believe different color shirts wiith the white logo option is a good idea.

Geez dre. You did an amazing amount of work in one day. Only a pro would think up a distressed design. Cool logo.

Question: Since you have a front and back design, which requires two separate screens, would a two color front-only design be just as cost efficient?

Here's a thought: How about a simple logo with the words Irish Envy with rad lettering on a shirt that resembles Lynch's football pants (military fatigue) that we have seen on some of his highlight clips?

Thanks guys, I appreciate the positive feedback! OK, here's the deal with printing these up: Essentially, there's two ways to go...the "suck" way and the "it won't suck" way. I prefer the latter because we aren't U$C.

The suck way is to offer them as one printed shirt at a time through a print on demand service such as CafePress, Zazzle, etc. Generally speaking, I have yet to find one of these that does a good job because they pretty much take an image and print it off on a shirt with a really fancy ink jet printer. While that sounds all well and good, it translates out to it looking like a crappy iron on transfer.

The non-suck way is to have a professional screen printing shop do them, that way they used water based inks (so they aren't all slick and shiny like old school softball jerseys) and the print quality is top notch (no bitmapped edges like it was printed from the 'net). Trust me, I have extensive experience dealing with this through trying to do my own shirt line.

What's the difference, really, between the two services? Well, other than the aforementioned quality, the way in which we need to order. The reason why the print on demand printers have thrived is because it's a simple process to upload some art and send people to a storefront and order a shirt. They get printed one at a time, shipped to you, they handle payment, etc.

Since I would assume most people would prefer quality over U$C...I mean crap...what I will do is get a price quote on what shirts will cost from a friend of mine that owns a screen printing shop and see how well we can hook this up. They will handle the printing and I will probably handle the shipping. Once I get a price quote I can bring back to you guys, I would need to take an accurate order amount and have everyone pay me through PayPal if possible.

Since I need to get a price quote anyway, I will see about what options we have (like white on a green tee, gold on a blue, etc.) I do know that tie-dye probably won't be an option as well as other exotic pints...too cost prohibitive as they aren't regular stock at a shop (special order). But, that works out well if you're someone like me who thinks tie-dye needs to stay in the 60's. :) j/k I would like to make other shirt styles, but for the moment I need to see how much of a turnout we have on this first design and see if we can support a shirt line for Irish Envy.

I'll have some info tomorrow probably, and thanks everyone for the interest in this project!

rikkitikki08...thanks! I plan on making more designs depending on the turnout we have for this one. Working on getting a price quote right now.

Would it be possible to throw a www.irishenvy.com somewhere on it, to lead people to this site who are fellow fans and haven't been to it yet? Maybe under the logo on the rear of the shirt. Also maybe you could email me a copy in EPS format so i could make a auto decal of it :)

MIrish, I could put a ".com" anywhere really, and I even thought about it too. I decided not to (at least on this design) because I really wanted it to be something you could wear anywhere...to a party, a bar, game, whatever...and have it look like any other part of your wardrobe you bought from any store. I felt like if I put the ".com" on there, it would give it a bit of an "internet, geeks only" kind of feel (no offense to anyone obviously).

I thought, if it's juuust vague enough, and represents a great website (without being blatant), it becomes a head nod to those in the know and a great conversation starter with women. I could see them saying "What's Irish Envy?" more than "Oh, that guy has a t-shirt from a forum board. Nice." Just sayin'...

Anyway, here is the pricing structure for the shirts. Each shirt will cost $18.00 for sizes Small through Large, XL sizes will be $20.00 apiece. This price covers the cost of the shirt, it's printing and the cost for me to ship it in an envelope or box from the USPS. We can print on a single color shirt with one color of ink, so please specify when ordering what color combo you want.

Blue Shirt, White Design
Green Shirt, Gold Design
Blue Shirt, Gold Design

I will set up a thread for ordering the shirts with all the necessary info which hopefully a mod will sticky.

Thanks all!

SWEET! Nice work Dre.

This price covers the cost of the shirt, it's printing and the cost for me to ship it in an envelope or box from the USPS.

We'll need to make sure we send some extra in order for the carrot to be present enticing you to jump as high next time. Thanks for the work.
