I was having a conversation with Neutered Doomer about this subject, and so I thought I would pose this question to you all. I am an artist / graphic designer, if I designed a kick *** Irish Envy t-shirt, would anyone buy it? Plus, if we started the tradition, would everyone get one each season like they do with "The Shirt"?

Thanks,
Andrew

** UPDATE **

Okay all, here is my first go 'round. I was thinking a nice, classic distressed logo on a navy blue shirt. Comments?

I'll buy anything Irish if the design is good ( not saying your not good just an honest statement)

And it would depend on cost too, but I'm in. Now i'll just sit back to see if it catches on.

I have visited dre1919's website. His work in incredible

w w w . a n d r e w s l o a n . c o m

w w w . a n d r e w s l o a n . c o m

(The links are the same, but they lead to different pages on the site).

I asked him if he had ever done any uniform design, or had considered creating an ND shirt.

I imagine it would take a massive order to make such a project feasible, but it sure would be great to see what he would come up with.

Thanks for the compliments guys! I have been working on creating some t-shirts of my own design for awhile now, and eventually will bring these to market. However, as a point of reference, here are three designs I have that should give you an idea of what I could do with an Irish themed design for the site:

From Russia With Love

The Gunner

The Ace of Spades

Count me in as well. Can't have enough Irish gear. I would get one for both me and my son.

Just watch the trademark/logo usage else you'll get a cease-and-desist letter faster than you can say Chicken Soup Bowl.

Oh yeah. It will definitely have to feature Irish, but not ND specific, artwork (since nobody I know wants to receive a C&D letter or get sued). :) I'll get something worked up in the next few days and see what I can get for pricing. Once I get the design done, I'll submit in this thread for everyone's approval / comments.

Looks cool Dre! Since you are doing a white screen on a dark shirt, you should offer a green version as well, in my opinion.

How about Green with Gold?

Oh yeah, I dig 'em.

Gold would be cool, but with screenprinting, anytime you change a color of ink it is a different process and costs more. If you do white on blue or white on green or white on whatever color, it is still just a one color print and keeps costs low.

I'm with you on the size issue. If I were to wear the new Tech-Fit jerseys the team is wearing, I would look like 10 pounds of oatmeal crammed in to a 5 pound sack!
