How many interceptions and fumbles has the defense caused? The problem all year in my mind is the inconsistency of the offense. Agree that overall they look sloppy today. And Kelly needs to get off of Crist's back for a bit.

Well you have to rest your defense a bit but when you go 3 and out half the time you can't expect your defense to keep pace. Over and under thrown balls with the inconsistancy of offense will kill any defense. Who really cares if ND is on pace to score 50 points, if the opposing team can match it.
