No doubt. Nice to see some class on the internet every once in a while. The only TAMU graduate I know is a nice guy as well.
Of course, it'd be nice if their team showed it sometime...

I live about an hour away from Cedar Rapids Kennedy. On the local news tonight it had highlights from their game. The bad part was that they said Christian French did not play in the Senior Night game. They said he as an elbow injury, but did not go into detail.

Iowa, ND, and Oregon. Iowa and Oregon want him on offense and we have him offered as an OLB. His last visit was to Iowa VS. Wisconsin. Just from the tone of what French said about the 3 schools, I don't see us landing him.

He still has an official coming here doesn't he? Its not over until it is over. Iowa is obviously the school right now because he just left there. We still have a chance.

I thought ISD updated that he was being recruited more as an "athlete" now. The only reason I ask/state this is because I thought he wanted a shot on offense. Could we be on the outside looking in for that reason?

I understand we are pretty set on the offensive side of the ball with this class (Koyack, Daniels, and Atkinson) but its tough to pass on a talent like this kid.
But I guess with Rabasa, Counsell, and maybe Ishaq, we are set on defense at his position too. Frustrating to me because this kid has amazing upside. Thought he was an irish lock for awhile but thats recruiting for you.

I think he's a better prospect on D than on offense, it would be sad to see him pick another school just because of that.

Lets hope we can close on this kid....what position are they recruting him for? OLB? Safety? I know its on the D side of the ball...
