National TV?
Just wondering. ND will play every game on National TV this year. With one game on ESPN. All others are on NBC, ABC or CBS.
Hey recruits, you want your family to see you on TV, go to ND.

Yup, huge perk to our program. I remember in 2006 when we were ranked #2 we almost didn't get a game against Air Force on national TV but in the end I was able to watch it just fine.

I had to purchase the MSU game. Damn. I wish I had my money back. Some other game was on in my area.

i havent had to pay for a game since that air force one someone mentioned above.

the two games that werent on NBC this year were broadcast on ABC and i got them just fine. Its very rare that if we are not on NBC we wont get picked up by abc/espn nationally.

Yeah, every game has been on TV for me.

Of course I only live 3.5 hours away from South Bend, so no other game is bigger than an Irish game.

Texas is trying to angle to gets its network set up to broadcast every game also. And, with the web expanding services like crazy, you could almost get every game of any prominent team. But NDs deal is still unique.

Much of the country (including Texas) didn't get the Boston College game a few weeks ago, unless you bought the ESPN package -- conflicted with Oregon/Stanford and Alabama/Florida.

Michigan has been on every week so far, supposed to be on every week the rest of the year. The Denard Robinson effect?

Seems to me the biggest benefit of constant TV exposure is in recruiting.

Michigan has had a LONG streak of games that have been televised dating back to the, 80's?. Early or mid 80's I think.

Uconn- ABC
ND- NBC
Umass- Big Ten Network
BGSU- ESPN2
Indy- ESPNU
MSU- ABC
Iowa- ABC
Penn State- ESPN (not the marquee matchup since PSU seems to be blowing goats)
Illinois- ESPN2 or Big Ten (depending on if Illinois continues their hot streak)
Purdue- BTN
Wisky- ESPN or ESPN2
OSU- ABC (of course)

Michigan just inked the deal with Alabama, open the 2012 season in Dallas Sept 1. Seems to me that Brandon wouldn't have signed up for this game if he were replacing RR. It will be Robinson's senior year, RR will be in his fifth year.
