NCSA Collegiate Power Rankings

The Collegiate Power Rankings from NCSA are calculated for each college/university at the NCAA Division I, II and III levels by averaging the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup ranking, the NCAA student-athlete graduation rate of each college/university and the U.S. News & World Report ranking. The collegiate power rankings based off of the Learfield Sports Directors' Cup rating evaluates the strength of NCAA athletic departments, while the U.S. News & World Report rating recognizes institutions of academic excellence. The student-athlete graduation rates are based on those provided by the NCAA.

Interesting statistic- No sarcasm.

I am really happy "ND does things the right way". It really takes the edge off of any loss- Sarcasm.

Maineman: thanks for the list. I for one am proud that Notre Dame continues to give a damn about the whole person.

AND:Some folks think that this is a weakness [football-wise] rather than the strength that it is. This sort of thing isn't irrelevant to maintaining our potential for being an elite athletic institution. The United States is a big place. There are lots of kids and moms and dads who will want the all-around best despite what the meat-factories offer. When the young athletes who are willing to be treated like meat enroll elsewhere, there will still be a ton of them wanting something better. All we need to do is get Kelly's program established. "If he builds it, they will come".

Duke? They are, to college basketball, what ND is to college football.
