Am i the only one noticed that it was CLEARLY a delay of game penalty? I actually assumed the broken play was because one of the refs blew the play dead. What BS man.
Yeah, that's what I saw. Complete crap!
You have to at least cover for a fake, play a zone FG block on the long FG and let the kid try to make a 46 yarder.
Either way, we got hosed and our safeties are just not very good most of the time.

That is one of the main reason they aren't very good most of the time. Zeke takes terrible angles at the runner. Harrison made some nice plays and I didn't notice him much of the game which is a good thing I guess.
We need our other 2 safeties badly. Why hasn't Austin Collinsworth or Robby Toma been given a shot at the position. Both would be undersized but are fast and tackling is a teachable skill(maybe I am wrong on that, haven't played organized ball since pee wee)

****ING BULL****!!! CENSOR THAT!
ESPN finally brought up the play clock on the Stanford halftime show. Blew it off. Typical.
As they should have. Look, its a ****ty call and believe me: at the end of the game I was looking for anything that would have negated that play. Pass interference, holding, play clock, 12 man on, you name it.
But the fact of the matter is that the play clock did not have any effect on the play. I imagine it was a close call, the refs let the players settle things on the field, MSU got the job done.
It sucks, but no reason to keep yelling about this.
Lets say the delay of game was called...MSU lines up and runs the same play and still scores. Did you see how much space the receiver had to score that TD? Lets not hang our heads over something that wouldn't have made a difference anyway.
