I second that...
guys fought hard, the D somehow found a way to shut them down in the second half...
DC did a nice job on the first couple drives back in the second half...
my only criticism is that our big guys did not do what it took to keep Mo...Floyd dropped balls, Rudolph dropped balls, Rudolph stumbled on a possible breakaway, AA found a way to step out on a possible breakaway, Teo missed a sure Int, DC missed too often on long balls (MI's vulnerability), had an INT, and of course the hail mary to end the game speaks for itself...
Don't get me wrong, they all did well in their own right throughout the game...I refer you back to the killer instinct comment Kelly made...its another way of saying championship teams find a way to get and keep Mo.
we had crap circumstances, but we had PLENTY of chances to close this thing out. To steel Denny Green...our team is "who we thought they were"...a talented, hard working, work in progress...I'm beyond angry right now...but I'm proud they fought as hard as they did.
As for the field goal in the first half...being unsure if DC was coming back, I can't second guess that...too soon for me to start that routine...if we execute the plays where we had an advantage we win...so playcalling must have been OK.
