just for the record this is exactly what people said at this time last year...

It's not that I don't believe... BK is recruiting well and his trck record is proven, we'll be back... but I am tired of counting chickens before the eggs are even laid... as far as this season goes... time to prove it... today.

I agree. I'm not ready to anoint BK as the savior of ND football, its only his second game. Besides, saviors get crucified.

What I do like so far is that starting positions are up for grabs - competition is healthy. And as others have noted regarding improved tackling technique and fewer penalties, in my opinion that goes to mental effort. And ND was a team last year that couldn't get out of its own way. Some follow through on the same factors today would be promising.

Been out to random locations to watch ND football. You would be surprised how many ND fans are out there in parts of Cali. Actually ventured out to a sports bar in a random town in SoCal thinking I was the only one glued to the ND game (there were about 15 other games on), but quickly learned that just about all 200 in the bar were there for ND. The men were so discreet and gentlemanly and shit, but the women let it rock. A redhead slammed the table and broke dishes when ND made a mistake. Blood was pouring from her eyes. She had nice boobies.
