Never experienced a weekend where I've been able to see so many future opponents playing at separate times.

Maryland moved the ball effortlessly on Navy in the first drive. Looks like Navy is returning the favor.

Navy's offense looks very disciplined as usual. Dobbs is a very good athlete.

its going to be funny when Navy wins or gives Maryland all they can handle and the announcers will say that Navy is just very disciplined and are no push overs.

But if they give ND a tough game or heaven forbid, they beat ND. Then ND will be looked at as having a soft schedule and still can't win or compete.

although even though it is early Maryland seems to have total control

Sweet interception at the goal line by Navy. Otherwise, I was thinking Navy D looks kinda slow.

Key to beating Navy is get up early in the game...also our OLB will be busy..wow...seems like our OLBs in a 3 4 are key...i know...obvious statement!

Is anyone watching this game? I am wondering what the hell Navy is doing or trying to set up by doing that silly play on every freakin series, and it is actually becoming annoying. They line up in their regular double slot or double wing, the left wing starts in motion to the right, then stops behind the QB. Then the entire backfield looks to the sidelines for instruction. They do it every 3 or 4 plays. I don't see the point.

i think its kind of like what ND does with the spread where they make it seem as if they are about to run a play so that the defense shows what they will be doing, i.e blitz.

it doesn't seem to be that effective though

Maryland D doesn't do a darn thing. They just sit there in position. Been doing it all game. So what's the point?

I guess the knee down call was upheld huh? I was away from the tube for a while and just got back to the game to see Navy punt. Is that their first punt? Aren't they close to 400 rushing now? They should be up by 21 now. Maryland defenders seem to be dropping like flies with cramps.

yeah thats why i don't think it is very effective, but maybe they think one time Maryland's defense will show something. Or maybe its to catch them off guard, if they do it enough maybe the defense will think it always happens and they catch them off guard.

But i haven't watched too much of it just like the 1st quarter and i just flipped it back on, 17-14

OMG.......Navy missed a field goal, Dobbs fumbled the ball 3 times and if it wasnt for that, Navy would be way ahead. What a great game.

Navy should have blown them out. How do you turn over the ball that many times in the red zone? feel bad for them to be honest
