I think his unofficial visit

I think his unofficial visit

Got us in to the game. I really hope he is Irish at the end. I like Daniels and hope he gets the academics to get in. But Williams should be the first option. I just get a good feeling about his recruitment. He gets the fact that he will see a lot of throws in the offense. It would be nice to get a kid from the Northwest.

Its never bad to get recruits from new areas. Get them thinking nationally which can only better our chances.

Rivals said today that he was getting ready to cut his list down. Any members have the specs on a timetable?

It looks like it will come down to Washington, Cal , and Notre Dame

I still say we are on the outside looking in based on what i read but he does love Alford.

Honestly i think he ends up at UDub but hopefully im wrong

That's huge man. This is a kid who came to ND questioning to himself whether he would even fit in at ND and basically doubting the whole 'ND thing'. And he left completely changing his perception of the place. Now, one of the nation's top receivers, and Scout's current #1 receiver, has ND in his top 3. And this is coming off of 3 crummy seasons! I too believe that he'll end up at UW, but to open his eyes that much to the point that we leapfrogged so many quality programs is awesome. BK and his assistants are doing an incredible job of recruiting so far. Imagine if we start winning???

Between SC's blue chip ND battles, and the rest of the nation, Bama, Flo Rida, and Tejas best have us on their radar since we'll be seeing them in January in a few years.

It's almost time we come full circle.

He has othe favorites like Oklahoma, LSU, Florida and USC that i remember but he doesn't remeber the name of his Florida recruiter and has stopped returning calls to Oklahoma, LSU and USC so i say we are solid top 3 but would place us at 3 for now

To me, he could go anywhere. Hasn't said a ton. Interesting to see where he chooses to go.

Completely agree.

Completely agree.

He has been on the radar for two years. I have not seen anything from him until last week. Really hard to read. I hope we get him. Michael Floyd clone. He's plug-n-play. If (like he's not gonna) Floyd goes pro after this year, here is his replacement.

Maybe I'm delusional but I think at this point ND is the only one that has a chance against Washington but that said the smart money is on him staying home though I would be more than willing to eat crow on this one, I want to eat crow on this one.

I think we should get Kasen's

I think we should get Kasen's

Mom on IrishEnvy. That ploy worked great with Aaron Lynch.

I'll make aure you have plenty of special New Mexican seasoning on this one, if you'll supply the crow. We'll have a feast.

Looks like his list reads Washington, Cal, and Notre Dame. Washington a distant leader.

Hell, if he wants to major in business there is NO comparison between ND and Washington. In fact, at this very moment I am staring at my girlfriend's "#1 business school" trinket ND gave all of the Mendoza kids at graduation.

I consider us a serious competitor now. Just have to win games this year on the field.

From everthing i have read he likes Notre Dame but LOVES Alford. We are clearly in his top 3 but i would say Cal and especially Washington is the favorite. also rad on some other boards that his family does not want him at Notre Dame or some reason.

I am not 100% on this but i had read on a DD thread that the reason his parents are against Notre Dame is the distance away from home and religion. Like i said, nothing i read officially but thats the message I had recieved.

How many kids from the West Coast are

How many kids from the West Coast are

On the Irish roster?

Isn't Ethan Johnson from Oregon, Crist and C. Wood are from L.A. His parents are Washington grads. I would think they would know the value of the ND degree vs. UW degree.
I still hope he commits.

I thought his mom was pulling for Notre Dame and that it was his dad that didn't like ND very much.

ND needs to put on a full court press for Kasen.

This guy is the next Micheal Floyd.

I want ND to land Kasen, but I also like DaVaris.

Do any of you guys know how many WRs ND is willing to sign?

The class is getting tight, so is two WRs and one more DB still an option?

Do you think the Aug 27 date is to allow for his incredible ND visit to fade a bit? I'm thinking the kid really liked ND, but there are other influences in play. The influences don't want to push him, so they get him to wait. Just a thought. Input?

Perhaps, but he's previously reported he'd make his decison preseason so he can focus on his senior season without all the distractions. His season starts a week later on 9/3/10.

I'm hoping the high profile prospects left on ND's list will wait to see Kelly demonstrate on the field that ND has returned and make a decision after an Official visit.
