I think that Pat understands what ND is trying to do and even if he's committed elsewhere. He'd come and play with his brother and live his dream (think its his dream) to play at ND no matter how late the offer came.

Poor kid he seems to have been the type that was begging for an Irish offer, but it just never came to be.

Good Luck to him in Champagne.

life isnt fair and this is just another example... this a ND type of young man and unfortunately he just doesnt have the measurables apparently. gl kid!

It cant be measurables. The kid is 6'7". The coaches could add weight to him, but you cant coach height. I have to assume that they feel confident that we will fill our remaining slots with more talented players or they assumed the kid would be willing to walk on.

I hope they are right.

Good for Flavin; not everyone gets a scholarship to play D1 football in the Big Ten.
