We're not talking talking fully saturated necessarily, the weed may have taken a cloth bath. And yes, alchohol has killed way more people due to the way it works on the body's central nervous system. Marijuana is in a whole other class. Luckily, paranoia and fear happen to be some of the key features along with sleep should the user "overdose."
Also you have to take into consideration human biology. Humans have long been subjected to alchohol, and a certain tolerance level can be described for particular genetic races.
Only tropical peoples may have consumed marijuana for the length of time relevant to alchohol consumption for the world's other peoples; my poison is Bourbon. If I drink, I will twist off. So I don't drink it. I love tequila and seldom have the problems others have. With weed, I had all the ideas and dreams to change everything and be rich beyond my wildest dreams but no drive or discipline to do any of them. Weed also ruined my highschool football career; well I ruined my highschool football career.
"Bathed in blood," I can only describe as dirty in delivery. Some very brave people may grow their own weed in the comfort of their own homes, but most probably wouldn't out of fear for getting locked in the clinker for amounts of time to certainly burden something in their life be it career, bank account, job, college, or family. The phrase was absolutely exaggerated and dramatic, I'll admit that.
Look, I say legalize it. Then it will be no more cool or the centerpiece for conversation as is having a drawn out conversation over a budlight. I mean, can you imagine me having a phrase under "johnnykillz" as "drinking a beer with Neutered Doomer;" no.
Juarez was mentioned way earlier. I know for most of you, this city and it's impacts are so far away most of you could give two shits. But for me, Juarez is two hours away. We're talking backyard. When the violence from down there crosses the border over this drug bullshit, you'll hear about it but it's serious stuff. It's all over drugs. Weed is one of the biggest money makers. Those cartels will kill to distribute their weed. Last week, a bulletin was posted locally about a local gang joinging up with one of the cartels down in Juarez for distribution purposes. The cancer will spread.
If we legalize mary jane, then when my daughter someday goes to try the stupid shit, she won't be dealing with the same networked bunch of violent goons that kill and distribute all other candy types... Feel me?
