Well, let's put it this way.
In retrospect, if Jimmy and Golden knew they were going to be middle/late 2nd round picks, would they have left? Probably not. The new CBA is going to have very little effect on their salaries from that position and if they repeated their statistical output of this year and won a few more games they both could have potentially went higher. That being said, it is real tough to say they made a bad decision based on the information they had available to them. Sometimes life doesn't work out perfectly. Personally, I wish the bears had had a pick... JC or Golden would have been much needed additions. But, again, sometimes you get stuck with Jay Cutler instead... o well.
Also, by the time their 3 careers are over Sam Bradford at one and Tim Tebow wherever he went versus JC at 48 could make Jordan dropping to 3rd look absolutely mundane in comparison.
Finally, Sam Bradford looks like he's better suited to a frathouse or a library than the football field.
