Tate is a good one, although you can give him a really bold name because those usually work out if sports have taught me anything. Golden, Rocket, Sterling, Peerless, Speedy, Homer, i think you get the idea

I think we are onto to something.

Let me see how bad I could butcher the next offers...

On a more serious note, a really dig a lot of the names offered up. I kind of like Jason's response on flashy names.

How about Brady Jitterbug Tate?

Right now, I'm leaning towards Brady Tate White

BTW, by the way.

We could just nickname him Jitterbug, for when he's stalking the hook curl zone as an LB like his daddy back in the day.

I'll never hate the kid enough to move him to Nose like his daddy got moved to halfway through his senior year in highscool...

If wanting to go the original route, Declan is a cool, unique Irish name, imo.

Whatever you do, make sure you but "Le" in front of his first name. I dunno what it is, but the sports Gods have showed that the "Le" brings with it atheltic skills.

LeBron
LeGarrette

I can see it now... "LeGeorge".

Great call!

I love it. The wifey doesn't dig it much though. WTF! I can't please this gal. If she keeps this up, she'll give birth to so many sons she'll let me name them whatever I want.

Possible bad news

Possible bad news

I need some prayers from you guys.

The Dr. yesterday said he couldn't see a heartbeat on the ultrasound. I hope he made a mistake. We did more bloodwork and we're going back tomorrow to follow-up on the issue.

I need some help reaching out to the lord. If it's his will, then so be it. I realize my plans aren't God's plans.

Thanks folks...

Update

Update

I went yesterday with the wifey to the appointment. The situation hadn't changed much, but another Dr. at the office saw her this time. He relied on facts alone and much more empathy this time.

Here's the facts:

Hormone levels continue to rise
6wks 3days
No visible fetal pole <---(I had to ask WTF on that one)
May still be too early to have a good ultrasound

We thought we were further along than we actually had been.

Thank-you all for your encouraging kind words and prayers...:thx:

God bless my man...Unfortunately they can't really tell anything for another 2 weeks. Jameson is a good name, but my wife refused to name the kid after a bottle of Whiskey. I got it in the final 2 but lost.
