Im sorry i just think that kelly can teach the kid to do what he wants him to do at qb as far as passing but you can't teach that speed and elusivness
Why? Saw his highlight on you tube..

YouTube - '11 OH QB Braxton Miller

He seems to run more than pass.. Kinda reminds of Denard Robinson(UofM). Very little deep balls thrown and you really can't tell how strong of an arm he has..

What, QB sneaks!!! Kelly is a pass happy offenese, not, run first like Urban's. Kelly had much success with Tony Pike who can't run worth a damn. You want elusivness than play him at another position just not QB.. In the highlight you can see him make a bad throw into coverage. All that elusivness doesn't mean crap if you can't make good reads..

I think Teddy Bridgewater is more suited for Kelly's offenese

that's some awesome music, that being said, I think we need a very mobile QB in 2011 to compliment the pure passers we have this year.

I love the music but I don't see anything special in Braxton and think Teddy is a better prospect.. Switching out QB like UofM did with Robinson causes inconsistency.

Recruiting services have him ranging in height from 6-1 to 6-3.5 and weight ranging from 185 to 199.

Questionable highlight film when dropped passes are shown. The young man is mobile.

Mute point, he's O$U anyway.

The height, weight, dropped passes, and mobility points (plural) are all open to discussion which makes them "moot".

The word "mute" deals with the abilty to speak or soften sound.

I think he's headed to OSU as well but that's open to discussion as well.

Apparently im not the only one who thinks so Dirty.
Notre Dame Football - 2011 Recruiting

If the author of that blog thinks we're going to pull in even 10% of the Texas recruits he names, he hasn't been watching ND recruiting for the past, well, forever. We may pull one every now and then, but he acts as if ND will focus all of its attention on Texas, which would be recruiting suicide.

Actually ND used to recruit quite well in Texas. Faust, Holtz, and Davie had great success in TX. Dave Huffman, Tim Brown, Bobby Taylor, were some of the more notables. Willingham's early teams were packed with Davie's Texans like Travis Leitko, Jordan Black, Gerome Sapp, Vontez Duff, Derek Curry, Bobby Morton, Big Ced Hilliard, Carlyle Holiday, Garron Bible, and Omar Jenkins.

Two thing happened to ND recruiting in TX:
  • Mack Brown became UT head coach in 1998 and slowed the loss of TX athletes that had taken place during Fred Akers, David McWilliam's, John Mackovic's eras
  • Willingham recruited mostly from the golf course. With Davie gone, ND lost connections with Texas high school coaches.

Per Bill Hodge's On The Trail

2011 Under Armour All-American quarterback Braxton Miller of Wayne (Huber Heights, Ohio) is expected to announce his Class of 2011 recruiting decision on Thursday (June 3) in a ceremony at his high school.

Pryor is ready to bolt for the NFL, OSU just has far too much going for them right now in this young man's eyes. Just my opinion. Hope he does well.

Unlike CW, Kelly promises to coach to the strengths of his players. In otherwords, he claims that he will adapt his offense and defense, to the talent he deems worthy of putting on the field. If that is true, recruiting the best athletes possible is the goal. Let's hope he's not just pandering to the faithful like previous posers!
