I enjoy my alcohol. But I've never done anything as freaking stupid as get behind the wheel and drive. Thus:
Chucks stone, smashes skull of RayRay.
Good on you Wabash. I wasn't always so smart. Like Rey Rey, I was an idiot and a complete douche for drinking and driving. As was already stated, just because many of us have done it and maybe continue to do so, doesn't make it OK nor understandable. We're all stupid for doing it, myself included.
You need to know this about Rey Rey. It was well-known in college that he had a major league drinking problem. It's being written about on the SC boards as we speak. At first he was given a pass b/c his dad was terminally ill and eventually passed. And then it was just ignored b/c he was playing so damn well, even after his famous incident at a frat party where he sucker-punched a dude and then told everyone he owned the cops in L.A.
What people don't know was that this was the 2nd alcohol-related incident at SC. The first played out exactly the same way. He was wasted at a frat party. He col'-cocked a dude who into the party for no other reason than he was with a hot chick. The dude was furious and was going to press charges, but Steve Smith and I believe Dwayne Jarrett begged him not to, and he didn't. The reason I know this is because a frat boy at SC got into trouble there and he had to do service hours at my school, and he worked in my classroom (he also told me he had 2 classes with Mike Williams and that he NEVER went to class). We always get SC students volunteering at my school and 2 other students confirmed it with me, saying that he was a sweet guy but an animal when he drank. But he was a stud so SC let it go.
My DUI served as a wake-up call for me, hopefully for him it will be the same...
