I don't care if ND gets 25 1 or 2 star recruits that are all nicknamed Judy; just as long as they are proven winners that work hard and help get the Irish back to national prominance year after year!

I agree you can always teach/refine technique, and build endurance/strenght but attitude, work ethic, aggressiveness.......you either have it or you don't

I watched that video awhile back.
I loved what I saw from work ethic, and there is something I just love about the the intense yet spiritual personality of Hawaiian players.

I hope he comes our way.

Yes, but you can't coach up speed and athleticism. You either have that or you don't. Give me 25 athletes who have attitude, work ethic, and aggressivness.

As a Junior and Senior AT ND, he bit so often on play action (and got toasted) he qualified for dentures before his 21st birthday.

It's not like other schools are banging his door down.

Offers: Boise State, Wash, Wash St., Stanford, Utah

It's a decent list, but not great. Rivals and ESPN don't even rank him and Scout gives him 3 stars.

I loved watching his tape, but I don't presume to know more than people who do this for a living. Maybe they're wrong. Who knows.

Maybe this guy could turn out like that Purdue kid a couple years back...I forget his name.

He played HS football in IN too I think. He wasn't even on the football team his freshman year, but by his senior year he was becoming a stud (too small for pro though). As I recall, he got hurt very early in the ND game and missed a good chunk of the season that year.

Why would Manti not talk to Kelly given our lack of depth at Safety. If Manti is not in kelly's ear about this kid, I am dissapointed. Why would Manti's dad not send Kelly a video about this kid. He appears to have the skills.
