Now that Clausen and Tate are gone, the offense will fall on the backs of Dayne Crist and Michael Floyd, most likely. Meaning that they will probably be the big playmakers. We all know what a talent Michael Floyd is. If (I realize that this is a big if) Crist is ready for primetime, then Floyd should have another great season. However, we might find out that we did, in fact, have a decided schematic advantage this year. Imagine this..........Crist looks really sharp. Again, we all know what a great talent Floyd is. But there really isn't anyone else that has shown outstanding skills, at WR. This year, when that situation came up, Golden Tate had a phenomenal year. Now, that could be because Clausen and Tate are just that good, or it could be that Charlie outschemed the defenses that were gameplanning to shut Tate down. If Crist looks good next year, and Floyd has a so-so year, because teams just double him constantly to take him out of the game, then will people be willing to admit that Weis' offensive acumen was/is outstanding?
