LOL WTF??

Sounds like a bunch of "boo hoo they won't let me in their club" kiddie level nonsense I can't see Charlie stooping to. He has a little more dignity than that.

However I have noticed it's seems his confidence is down as of late. I always saw the Bill Parcells "tough guy" image he always tried to portray as a bit of a facade & somewhat transparent. It always seemed forced. I really don't think he's that kind of person & much of that was an act to cover the fact that he really is a soft hearted guy. A character trait that has failed him as a coach. I think the real Charlie has started to show through the past month or so. Don't get me wrong, I've seen him yell in practice & on the side lines but I don't think he's the "hard ass" he always tired to lead everyone to believe he was.

I like Charlie & always have but just don't think he posses the tools to be a leader.

They told you this, personally?

Yes. But it was heard by all and most definitely was intentional. Charlie was really pissed. He has really gone over and beyond to do Navy right and Ken N really pissed him off.

Please stop creating new threads with old information.

Weis told Walters (fanhouse) last week he is more respected in the NFL and will work next year.

he has said it multiple times now, but in the context its fine. calm the fuck down man, are you really pained so much to hear this one more time?

i think most of us are glad that charlie will be better off in his future. i hope he and his family can find an escape from what has come to be this last month.

Dear God i hope one of those teams are the 49ers. Lord knows we need some type of offensive boost.

the 49ers dont have Bellichick as coach or Brady at qb. personally, i think away from the patriots structure, head choach, and qb, charlie weis will be one of many average to good O coordinators.

watch it, man! you just made me throw up part of my lunch.

good one, though. that was pretty funny.

Right because Bellicheck was a huge success in Cleveland. I have a feeling Weis will be a very successful coach one day, too bad it wasnt here

The bears could certainly use him, Cutler takes too many sacks, he wont last if he doesn't get rid of the ball more quickly or roll out of the ocket to make the dump-pass or throw it away. Charlie could scheme away with the arm strength of Cutler and the bullish RB Forte.

Charlie could likewise be enticed by the Chiefs, not just because they need him but because of the NE connection with Cassle. They never played together but that organization is dumb enough to take him just because of Weis/Brady/Cassle.

Don't think the Redskins are beyond offering Charlie a HC job, either. They will force their options of coordinators for the defense, but coud give him the reigns out of desperation and their complete lack of offensive understanding.

I would love to see him go to the Rams and work with a drafted Clausen and have that RB Jackson to carry some of the load. Jimmy and Weis would also get to continue wearing Gold and Blue, baby.

The wouldn't go after him because the connection, they would go after him because Scott Pioli is the GM, he worked in NE with Charlie, he knows Charlie well.

Well Charlie was Joe's roomate. Coincidence... i think not

they weren't roomates, he just knew him, barely in college, they had the same group of friends.

your being sarcastic right jason? you don't really think that's true right?

what has anyone seen out of Weis's comprehensive management skills that makes them think he would ever be a good head coach?

he will be a career O coordinator. nothing more. and even so, he will have to prove he can bring something to a team that will enhance its offensive capabilities. the system that weis installed in NE( the Erhardt-Perkins offensive system ) was a system that Bellichick decided would work best for the team and Bellichick made sure to fit the right personnel for that system. when weis left, the patriots offense sailed on very efficiently.

+1

The 49er offense looked pretty good today though.

+2

Mike Singletary said with the injuries along the line that playing more of a spread style offense would play to the teams strengths. But we went back to Raye ball in the 2nd half to try and milk the clock however like always when we play Raye ball it's 3 and outs more often than not.

If CW goes to the Rams, guess where JC is playing next year.

I'm sure Brady Quinn would welcome him.

Take the Bucs of the list, see post #3

The Bucs should be off the list. Olsen under extension now and Morris will get a 2nd year with a new DC.

The Rams have Pat Shurmur (who coached with Spags in Philly). Shurmur and his WCO get a 2nd year.

Browns, Bears, Lions, Chiefs, Patriots have all been mentioned. Throw the Panthers in there. He and John Fox are pretty tight. Also Jake Delhomme is the worst player in the NFL. They need a QB. HELLO? MCFLY?

I'd throw the Panthers out, Fox is on the hot seat and unless Coach Chin wants CW then forget about that.

I'd list the following teams as possibly interested :

Chicago (If Lovie stays, Turner goes. Charlie or Martz would likely get that job)

Washington (Daniel Snyder can never be discounted and he would certainly hire an OC before a HC because he is an idiot.)

Cleveland (If Mangini stays it's obvious Daboll goes. However I don't think EM stays)

Kansas City (as mentioned already strong ties to Haley and Pioli)

Oakland (Uncle Al is always at the center of everything)

New England (I'm sure they'd love to have Charlie back in some capacity, Asst. HC and a job on the offense somewhere)

NY Jets (Brian Schottenheimer was not Ryan's choice so he could choose someone with a track record with QB's...19th overall/29th passing/2nd rushing. Sure they have a rookie QB but Ryan could surprise and opt for a change)

Buffalo (possibly OC under Perry Fewell should they choose to remove the interim tag and make him the HC)
