This game matters to all real ND fans. I don't personally know any one on the team but i sure do like them all. Seeing guys like Clausen, Tate, Brian Smith, and Ian Williams come in and grow up before my eyes makes me want nothing but the best for them. They may be struggling but i will support them every second of the game

I will be at this game on Saturday, and I pray that I don't have to endure another heart breaking loss - I was at the senior game last year and watched the Syracuse debacle.

My question is - what do these guys have to play for right now? Will they show heart? They certainly have all year, but now they are playing for a lame duck coach, they may or may not be playing for a legit bowl game, and two of the top offenisve guys are inches from the NFL - how do you think the Irish will respond to all of this?

I see them winning this game at home, for the seniors, and for Charlie. Regardless of what happens.. but a lot of people diasgree with me.

Come on people - speak comfort to me!!! I can't bear the thought of watching another L!!!

If you can't bear the thought of watching another L I would watch high school football or college basketball on November 28th.

I just hope ND don't come out flat, like the last 2 games, this is the last home game for ND......I'm not going to pick a winner all I know this might be very very close game.......

35 - 17.... ND wins and prepares to shut down the Harbaugh madness.

I think if we played this game at home then I think we have a shot, but since this is on the road, I just don't know, ND just don't play well on the road......

We blew out Washington State and Nevada.

It's a home game...

Yes but Washington State is a downright miserable team, but Nevada I would say is pretty close to UCONN, I think we struggle early like always, but we gain the edge late in the game. Look far a strong day by the defense and offense, Notre Dame takes this one 27-13
Clausen throws for 400+

We also were made to look foolish against the navy mid-shipmen and I would say UCONN is better than Navy....just sayin....

Everybody relax...we're gonna win this one fairly handily (I think). It's sort of emblematic of the depths to which our program has sunk that the athletic department has done its job, scheduled yet another home game against a team we're pretty much guaranteed to beat (UConn????), and we're worried.Still, we will win, and the scheduling scheme does continue to successfully build in a "guarantee" for more wins than losses, for which I, for one, am grateful. No, it's not the program it was a VERY long time ago, but even with all of our whining, we ARE 6-4 afterall, 7-4 after today, and it will be fun out there today. Forget BCS rankings....that ain't us, not anymore. But another great day on campus and in our stadium? You betcha, as Sarah Palin would say...I plan to enjoy it, just as I would if we were playing the Little Sisters of the Poor.... another team that might appear on our schedule before long.

Yeah, that strength of schedule of ours, in the 20's in the nation, is really really weak and guarantees a ton of victories. I wish we were more like those SEC teams that play super hard teams like The Citadel and Southwestern Louisiana Tech instead of patsies that play in bowl games like Pitt, UCONN, Nevada, Mich St, Navy, SC, etc.

Look, UCONN is an upstart program who has been very successful in their short time in D1, going to bowl games the past 2 years. They are not Texas, but they sure as hell ain't The Citadel. It's sad that a ND fan like yourself would perpetuate the myth that ND's schedule is pillow soft, when in fact it's in the top one-fifth in the nation, beating out teams such as Texas, Alabama, Penn State, etc. Think about that the next time an SC fan is bagging on our schedule and you are agreeing with him.

EDIT: I just read through your 7 posts. All you do is rip the schedule in a sarcastic way, under the guise of being a 'fan', when in fact you are nothing more than a loser troll. C-ya...
