i loved it... f**k b**chs lets F pitt up big time, its time for us to just pop a team in the mouth out of the gate
I have to disagree. My first reaction was that I was reading, yet again, Weis' lame excuses, "...we came out in the second half, minus one mess-up, they don't get anything."
Well, what about that one mess up? What about the first half? Beat Navy more than 1/3 times and maybe he can have some credibility.
Tough talk, lackluster results. I'd like to see/hear him defend Ian Williams.

his point was they made adjustments for the 2nd half. the score for the 2nd half was 21-9....i'd say they adjusted.
i agree the 1st half was ridiculous, but that was the topic he was talking about.
I think you are going to see a pissed off Irish team on Saturday night. Pitt better be ready for an absolute dog fight. I just sense a team full of guys that really know they let one get away with Navy and it will not happen again.
This team did not get outplayed by Navy, they outplayed themselves. Our O moved at will. They had three HUGE turnovers and one floundered opportunity, first and goal. Our special teams missed two FG's. Our D gave up one long drive TD. The other two scores were, one only about 35 yards after the Parris fumble and the other was a screwed up coverage by Blanton.
I do not think the team views this game as, "oh my, we are not even as good as Navy". It is more, "crap, we blew that one, but we know how to play much better".
GO IRISH!!!
You can't put the 2 points on the defense. More like 21-7

I'm obviously not very technically savy - I haven't figured out the hyperlink with this site, but this NBC article shows a clip of the play.
Now that I've watched the play again I'm even more pissed off because of the reaction by the receiver. He throws his hands up to the ref as if he wasn't aware that diving at a player's knee from behind was an illegal play.
On second thought...i have a different opinion than I originally stated
At first I liked what Corwin said because it showed me that coaches were pissed about the loss, too. We know the players were. charlie doesn't show emotion in press conferences. Corwin got heated and I liked it.
Upon further review...this makes ND look HORRIBLE. this is notre friggin dame. their D linemen avereaged 243 pounds. they lost to temple at home. and our coaches bitch about navy playing dirty on VETERANS DAY?
wtf is going on here? even if they were throwing cut blocks ND should beat navy by three touchdowns on size and talent alone.
if corwin is pissed and thinks the stuff was dirty and wants to call the other coach, FINE. don't lash out about it to reporters. look at the national media. they're eating it up and ND looks like a bunch of overhyped, overrated whiners after losing to navy.
this is garbage
I'm calling it right now. ND beats Navy by 28 next year. IF we keep this squad together I expect it to be even worse. Number one revenge game on the schedule. Now it's a rivalry again.
