I took a week off from work after new years, and spur of the moment we are getting in the car in the morning to check out the Army AA game in San Antonio.

Anyone been there to know what I can expect for photo opps and autos? More importantly, should I have a real hard time getting tickets walking up to the box office 30 minutes before kickoff? Looking at Ticketmaster this afternoon, there are certainly PLENTY of seats...

Thanks for the insight!

Thanks all, will certainly take pictures. I am going with the wife and littln's, so I don't know how much of a 'fan' I'll be able to be (i.e.-Irish recruit groupie mode may be repressed).

I'll let you know what and whom I see.

Quite an interesting time at the AA game. Me and the kids were decked in our ND gear, although none of the ND recruits got close to the sidelines after the game for photo opps or autos. Was fired up to see the ND skill players make an impact!

Observations:

Michael Floyd was doing his best to be the emotional leader on the West sideline. He seemed jacked the entire game, slapping high fives with whomever was coming off the field on offense or defense.

We had best get our shot at Michigan in this year, cuz Terrelle Pryor is fast. Hopefully our defense catches up in the speed and tackling categories, because that game is going to be a battle for years to come if he commits to scUM.

Chili's must just be the place to go for football players. We were seated in a booth next to Michael Floyd and R.J. Henderson. Got a chance to shake Floyd's hand and wish him luck in the fall. I also saw Brandon Newman come in (with his parents?). There was one unnamed recruit in the restaurant that was being a complete dick to our server (whose brother attends ND) because the server accidentally stepped on his all-white deck shoe. He was going on to his buddies that he had better get 'some free food and sh**.' Um, I was sitting there, and you could not see a thing on his shoe. I know you're an 18-year old kid on top of the world, but show some class and respect. So unnamed recruit, good luck at ASU.

On the way back walking the RiverWalk, got in a 'Go Irish!' with Sean Cwynar and his family.

Our Lady was well represented in San Antone.

Oh yeah, it was amusing to see McGuffie do absolutely nothing until one play LATE in the 4th during prevent time. Nonetheless, his speed may play well into the new scUM offensive philosophy.

Sean Cwynar had a great game...recovered a fumble in the 1st Q...got double teamed the rest of the game...he had pressure on the QB the whole day....his parents and his longtime girlfriend came down from Chicago to cheer him on....he's in classes now....say's it's really hard.....
