Anybody know what Gunnel said to Clausen at the end when Cluasen gave him a little shove? I'm sure no one knows now but some research may need to be done. I slowed it down on DVR and as Clausen was walking away from him he said "waste of my time." Not sure if it was a friendly shove but it looked hostile. If it was a hostile comment that Gunnel made to Clausen then i love Clausen's reaction.

I saw it too and wondered what was going on. Love Clausen's comments but would have rather had him not lay a hand on him. Whatever the issue was, we got the win.

Defense still suspect - probably an understatement.

It was hostile to be sure.

I love it. We were drained after USC but that scrum at the end made it all worth it.

Yeah, I saw rewound it on my DVR as well. It looked like Jimmy was just going to tell him "good game" or whatever and then Gunnel got a little pissy.

It looked like JC extended his hand as to say good game etc & Gunnel started jawing so JC told him to #@*^ off with a shove & a laugh. I actually kinda liked it.

Now that I think about I remember a play where JC ran up to a player in the 2nd & got in his face after a tackle on one of the ND players. Related?

Yeah I re-watched it, Jimmy went over there to shake his hand, and the BC player put his finger in Jimmys face and started talking shit, Jimmy pushed him and said "Dont waste my time" with a little hand motion. Hahahaha. I wanna know what that douche said.

For one I don't mind JC foul mouth, it gets the point across, & I like the push, Jimmy's isn't going to take anybody's shit!! It looks Gunnel was being interview, maybe that's what he was pissed about, that Jimmy interrupted his interview.......

He was probably pissed off that he had a whale of a game, only to lose because his 25 year old true freshman QB gave it away. :wink:

After watching it again, for the 800th time, Gunnel says "No YOU listen" before Jimmy excuses himself from the situation.

Clausen went to say good game but Gunnell--he confirmed that was what Clausen was doing--claimed some garbage about pre-game trash talk from Jimmy. It's probably true but after the game is over you need to give props and that was what JC was doing and Gunnell wasn't classy enough to reciprocate. I'm about 99% certain--from having an uncle coach D-1 at a few schools--that a whole lot of really nasty shit is said before the game but once the game is over the players usually were gracious in victory and defeat.

Gunnell is just a young man so I don't want to call him out but I think what he did was classless....of course I don't expect he gives a shit what I think.

Gunnel is the one who is going to look like a punk over and over. JC did just enough to make him look like a bitch and that he isn't in the same league. One lucky game against a below average defense won't get that weenie drafted. HE'll be pissed about that little shove the rest of his life.
