Basically Weis broke it down and said not only do we want you but we need you. That he understands he is uneasy and agrees that this choice should be his and he should be certian of the choice. He should come visit, take it all in, and if after that he decides he should take visits he will fully support him.

"oh ya i love ND im gunna show up to the blue gold game in all green nd gear and take pictures and sign autographs." if you are gunna do that you better damn know you are goin to that school!! also me and some other nd fans befriended him on facebook and we all had nd football pictures as our profile pic and he defriended all of us in the past week. why all of a sudden? i was f-book friends with him since he committed. I think he should take visits if he wants. If you look at it, he pulled the trigger really early and never got to enjoy the recruitment life. When he's done visiting other schools sit down and really evaluate where he really wants to go. Does he really want to throw away all he's done in helping ND in recruiting his friends and others or does he want to enjoy the fruits of what he help build at this program.

He was in love in ND in February, takes his recruiting picture in ND gear after he commits. Then he leaves Oakland to go play in CO, then he is quoted as saying that Cal is even with ND. Maybe a case of home sickness, just a theory. I don't believe he'll switch to UT or UF. If he de-commits from ND I'll bet he stays in CA.

Homesickness ran through my mind when I heard CAL and UCLA were involved. The CO experience, new school, new friends, living with relatives may not be comfortable. UCLA's a couple hundred miles away but mom could make the games easier than ND, UT, or UF or he could go home if needed.

Besides Slick Rick will volunteer to be surrogate mom.

On a somewhat good note, he texted Steve Wiltfong to let him know that Coach Hart was going to visit Chris Badger on Thursday and then Martin on Friday. Nice to see he keeps in touch with an ND recruiting service on his own, instead of our guys pestering him. (maybe I'm grasping at straws at this point LOL)

But like I keep saying, wake me up in February with Chris. He's obviously confused as to what he really wants to do, so I'm just going to let it play out and not even sweat it. Why worry about something you have absolutely no control over, something that seems to change every week? Just let it play out...

Cal has been playing better football than Notre Dame within the past couple of years. Cal may not been brining in national championships, but they are winning more than ND.
