According to Steve Wiltfong Amerson is trying really hard to get on campus, and if he doesn't get here in August he will definitely take on OV. He was going to commit to NC St. after a visit but his coach talked him out of out it, convincing him not to do it until he saw ND. Now Moore is on him about ND, and Coach Brown and him have formed a bond, so he won't commit anywhere until he has seen ND in person. He's very intrigued with ND and once we get him on campus out stock will rise even more with him. This will be a ND/NC St battle, and if he's willing to leave home I think he'll be Irish (that is, if there is still a spot in the secondary for him)...

Yeah you saw this alot with the 08 class with guys like Dayne crist and sean Cwyner really bringing the class together and helping recruit each other. This class may not be as good as that 08 class but witht he amount of players still looking at us the 10 class could be Weis's best defensive haul yet.

Took a long time

Amerson said he had a great visist got to hand out with Blanton and the other recruits and really got along great with everyone. Got to meet up with Brown and discuss how much ND needs him and can use him. His parents had a great time and really enjoyed meeting Brown and Weis.

Amerson has no other visits currently set up but plans to see NC State once more before deciding

thats great news. Love this guys measurables and we have shown we xcan coach safeties up. Rivals thinks that distance will be a factor but he has said he loves Corwin so hopefully we can win this one

It's real, real, real close. If I had to give an edge, I'd probably say Notre Dame. I loved the visit. But before I pull the trigger or anything like that, I want to be 100-percent sure.

NCS #2 followed by Clemson and VT.

He's not sure if he'll make any other officals. Early PT is a factor.
