What I learned is that people are upset with Jimmy's numbers, considering he has a bad foot. I think that his numbers were good condering the lack of playing time + his bad foot.

I just don't understand what these people want? Maybe 300 + yards per game, 3-4 TD's a game and 41-7 thumping a week, well people this just isn't going to happen. Just enjoy the wins that we get no matter how lopsided they might be. A win is a win. Look ay LSU barely won this week, barely got by Washington, and yet no one is saying anything negative about them.

Maybe most people on here rather *itch about ND Football no matter how good or bad. Maybe people on this board would be happier with 3 wins a year so they can *itch about CW & Jimmy C. I always liked Jimmy when most people on here didn't like him (and you know who you are) & wished Dayne Crist was in there. Well I just don't think DC is that good of a passer. I'll take Jimmy C any day...... People just enjoy our wins, even if we barely win, it's better than losing!!!!!!

anyone talking smack about Mr. Clausen's numbers is not fan of Notre Dame, and they are completely ignorant when it comes to football.

they dont know what they want either; they just want to bitch, moan and complain. ppl crying wolf about CW kinda ruins this site for me. After the 762nd time of calling for CW's head, NO ONE IS LISTENING ANYMORE PPL!!!!!!!!

Everyone just wants a quick fix, and if they don't get it all they do is whine and complain about every little thing or coach or player. You don't build a successful program with quick fixxes. Any way I wish the complainers would just be happy that we get to see the Irish play on Sat. I go nuts all year waiting for this.

i'm not concerned with JC's numbers, the only one that counted was the last throw. Bottom line, what I learned was this was finally the "statement" game that Jimmy needed to prove he can and has lived up to the hype. I remember being up big on Pitt, UNC, and Syracuse last year and losing those games. Didn't happen this time, and that makes me a very happy domer!

The article mentioned many issues remain, and we all noticed them (especially tacking, and replacing Floyd). But one fact is obvious...we lost 80% of our offensive output and still beat a big ten team on the road. This shows we have developed "some" depth, and can win as a TEAM and a collective unit.

I loved our ball control, pound-it drive in the 3Q. Need about 4 of these to beat UW this week. I thought UW was a trap game, and still believe it might be, but maybe this win will help.

I'm just tired. I think I pulled a muscle in my head willin' JC and Rudy into that last play... I was beat...not to mention Pudue's last score, and her saying (on the couch next to me) "Oh, here they go again same as last year", almost cost me a relationship.... I'm tired. Almost had nothing left to make that connection between Cutlet and Hester. I'm gonna take an Ambien before a tear a muscle...ooh...ooh, I'm crampin' up.....

It would be nice if Golden Tate would learn to go up after the ball, and take it away from a defender who maybe has position on him. THAT is what is missing, without Michael Floyd.

I don't think that was Tate who was out of position in the corner of the end zone on the interception. It was Evans. JC is used to Tate and Floyd being in exactly the right spot. I wouldn't throw that pass again unless it is to Tate. If worked in the first half with Tate but thanks to Kamara it got called back.

It was Evans, but Jimmy had the ball knocked from his hands as he was about to throw recocked then fired. If he threw it clean the first time Shaq had his guy beat and could have been a TD

I wasn't talking about that play in particular. One of the things that I have noticed about Tate.........he has great concentration. If a defender has him blanketed, and goes up to make a play on the ball and misses, Tate will still (normally) make the catch. But Floyd doesn't even bother. He just goes up and gets it. If Tate could develop that skill, he would be every bit as good as Floyd.

I don't think it matters as to what happened to the negative gentlemen that was banned. The Irish, and the fans of ND have to put negativity behind us. We have won three hard fought games and are well on our way to glory again...

The team of '05 had swagger, and that team felt they could win every game. I, as a fan, felt we could win every game. The positive thoughts go a long, long way. This group of Irishmen are looking for themselves, and by next weekend, they will have found the team they are to become in December or January.

I know Charlie makes bonehead calls, and when its fourth down and long and he goes for it, it shows no faith in our defense. But, let's pray he plays fundamental football the rest of this season. Gamblers go to LSU and Michigan to coach. Legends come to Notre Dame to behold the prestige that is under our Touchdown Jesus's watchful eyes. We will prevail.

Washington will be conquered on Saturday. Although I do think Steve Sarkisian is good stuff, he isn't ready for our kids.

And in two weeks, I hope to see the Kelly Greens under a ready to game it crowd against Pete "sold his soul" Carroll's baby T's.

Go Irish!

Only thing that worries me about Washington is that Steve Sarkisian is coaching Willingham's kids. That's the only reason they are winning this year....sorry trying to be sarcastic, I just hate how that's all they said when Weis took over ND. I would hope everyone is consistent and says the same thing about Washington and Sarkisian.

Guys, he was kidding...BGIF WAS NOT BANNED. Damn, you guys are easy!!!

I banned midwestguy (finally). It was long overdue. It's one thing to be critical; it's quite another to be negative with EVERY SINGLE POST. There are plenty of people here that are critical, and great discussion goes with it. I disagree with a lot of it (the 'Weis is not a good playcaller' argument absolutely kills me...with those people, there is simply NOTHNG that Weis can ever do to win them over. He had backups at all 3 key spots in the 2nd and 3rd quarters and had Purdue not knowing what the f*** was hitting them. People complain he's too boring, then they complain about the Wildcat. What can he do?), but those people have every right to post here as well as the 'positive thinkers'. Midwestguy crossed the line with name-calling and excessive negativity, to the point where he posted only to be negative. He also posted under a different name, and he was banned under that name as well. I'm sure he'll be back under a different name too...
