Its defined in the next 9 games. Lose any other game besides USC i know he isnt the guy
I believe the AD mentioned a New Years Day bowl or bust. But in year 5 I would expect that ND would be competing for a BCS game.
What if he beats USC and still loses one more game this year? Don't you think that way of looking at the season is flawed
Okay, seriously people... you guys have to be all idiots.
CW has stocked the team with stud recruits, he put out one of the top ten offense's in the country this year, and totally shown sides of this team maturing and becoming a BSC bowl caliber team.
There will always be close games that go one way or the other. That's football. But if our team keeps looking like it does for the remainder of the year and shows so much progress, perhaps we can do it.
It's scary to think that almost every key player on offense and defense will be back next year (minus some departures on the oline). If this team finishes the year at least 9-3, they will head into next season as a National Championship contending team full of upperclass stars and future 1st round DPs.
Those stud recruits are all on offense, and they don't have a defense to back them up.
Those departures on the offensive line are huge. When was the last time we lost some reliable starters on the offensive line?
How about 2005? Dan Stevenson and Mark LeVoir, two experienced players, left. The next year, Quinn is pummeled.
How about 2006? Ryan Harris, Bob Morton, etc. We all know what happened the next year.
Meanwhile, Notre Dame followers have their own list, and they're not waiting until December or January to do the performance review. Some of the criticism directed at Weis is valid and deserved. Some of it is shrill and reactionary.
But there is no denying he is at an intersection of his Notre Dame career.
...
Like it or not, we'll likely know by the end of these five games.
Okay, seriously people... you guys have to be all idiots.
