This guy is my favorite with this group, ELECTRIC, and give him a little and he'll have a game like Floyd had. Floyd will make a nice pro, he's a talented monster out there but Tate gives me the feeling that Ismail did-it can go to the house without a lot of room. Plus last week when he revealed his team mentality after the game and the block for his buddy during the game showed me a lot. This group is as Phil Steele said the best in the country. O line, O line, O line, give 'em some time and they will put some crooked numbers on the scoreboard. By the way the tight end is a stud too. Dont blink this week end and play the 'toughman' game that will be needed.

Golden Tate can play two professional sports and is a possible first round draft pick.
Tate Forcier cannot and will not play pro football, because he is overrated as hell and Devin Gardner will have overtaken him as Michigan's starter by the middle of the 2011 season.

Golden's fuel is Floyds performance last week.
Golden doesn't need performances by others for motivation.
He threw a great block on the Hawaii Kickoff Return, got up and was at the goal line for the score.
He threw a block to spring Floyd then threw another block on the safety coming acoss in pursuit. He only hit one leg on each of the two defenders but each hit took out a man. Two for Two and 6 for ND.

I think last week showed his motivation is team success. He only had 3 catches but threw several nice blocks and after the game he was the first one to run over to the student section to celebrate. This guy is all about ND, not just about himself, I truly believe that.

I just saw on Sportscenter that Tate Forcier did an interview where he was asked if he would be nervous playing Notre Dame. His response was, I dont get nervous.
That may be true, but I wonder what he will feel like with #58 running after him all day. I hope his chest has a 58 impression on it by the end of the day.

I'll still take Golden Tate, other kid played a great game but if he says he isnt nervous he's lying cause I played a sport in front of 55, 000 people and anyone who tells you they arent nervous is trying to convince themselves. He has alot left to do lets not make him Turner Gill just yet. Hats off nice game see you in South Bend next year. We'll be waiting for ya.

That kid is a great player. Forcier showed me alot and ill give him all the props. I thought after the second quarter when we took the lead and our d was putting him on his ass a few times he would fold. Played beyond his years

Forcier is good. However, our Tate will be playing in the NFL or the MLB. Forcier will never play in either.

Thats great. Can't win a national championship in the NFL. Forcier has a better chance at a NC than anyone on ND right now.

Phork, your crazy if you think one game against us puts him closer to a National Championship than any of our guys. You know they won't win it this year right? Or are you under a grand delusion that they could win the NC? If not 2009 then what makes them closer than us for 2010?
I never thought we could win the National Championship this year I think 2 or 3 losses, like I have always said, but to make an asinine statement like Forcier has a better chance at a National Championship is just silly, negative trolling.

Because once DickRod gets rolling there is no stopping him. EVERYWHERE he has gone, year 2 has seen a dramatic improvement. I forecast a 6-6 record for UM, I am going to move that up to 9, maybe more.
Why won't ND win a NC ? Because we will lose to Michigan every year from here on out. I said it when DickRod got hired and yesterday proved it. I also said that if DickRod was still there in his 5th year they would be NC contenders. I may move that up a year or so.

Anything said (after a lose) negative against the winning team sounds woefull, but I'll take ND's talent and players and play them anytime. We'll see next year-I think they were unprepared for the flag football offense and a kid that runs that offense darn well. Pro potential is not even a debate. Let this thing play out see how both teams end up. I think mich can beat OSU as that offense is not that good.
