Discuss this weeks games.

Since Oregon faces off with Arizona in an odd, big name Thursday night game, I thought I'd get the party started early.

Oregon started with all sorts of trickeration and went for the 2-pt conversion after their first TD.

Arizona intercepted the next goalline effort by Oregon and went down for their own score.

8-7 with 6 mins left in the 1st qtr.

You might get your wish.

Arizona 17-11 with 13 left in the 1st half. Arizona just held Oregon on a short 3rd down.

so the #2 ranking really is a curse this year. it sucks too bc dixon seemed poised to have a good game. that INT he threw wasn't his fault. it hit his reciever right in the chest. and now oregon has to play with ryan leaf's bro. wowwwwwwwwwww

That was a bad intentional grounding call. If you're in the act of throwing when the player hits you, naturally it's not going to make it to the intended target.

An oregon loss has major shake-up potential in the Pac-10 race. Arizona leads 6-1 in conf play, Oregon is next at 5-1 and USC 3rd with 5-2.

Even if Oregon loses, they stay ahead of USC b/c they beat them head to head. If USC beats AZ State (both would be 6-2), they jump over Oregon and beat out AZ State based on the head to head victory.

USC would have to then beat UCLA. Oregon would also have to beat UCLA, and OR State as well. So UCLA could play major spoiler for both teams.

If both Oregon and USC win the remainder of their games, Oregon stays ahead with h2h victory.

Yeah, it looks bad. They said they're afraid he tore something in his knee. If it's true I wouldn't be suprised if he's out the rest of the year, and if you notice he put his helmet back on while he was on the way to the locker room just incase it was the last time he might be wearing it.

I saw the injury. It was one of those non contact injuries were the knee just buckles under you. I know all to well how that feels.

Not that big of a suprise here, but Hawaii has it's hands full with Nevada. Hawaii only leads by six and Nevada is driving and they are now down inside the 15 yd line.
