If he maintains his QB Efficiency Rating of 303 throughout the season he has a slight chance (and if the defense stays "lucky")

First let's get past the USC game, then we'll see. I like Jimmy but we have to see how he does against Michigan, Michigan State, and USC..... If he has more TD's than INT'S, while throwing for 300+ yards a game he could be in the running for the HT..........

if JC continues with his current course, and then has a monster game against USC...he will then start to make some noise nationally for heisman.

Only chance is a win over USC or a monster game in a loss to USC. Otherwise, its just not going to happen. Remember Quinn in 2006 against Michigan? That loss ruined his chances.

To early to tell, it has only been 1 game, Clausen still has room to grow. Plus just wait until he throws his first interception; then people will be complaining...again and then want Crist to take over.

Gonna be tough. Gotta have 275+ or more EVERY game with 2-4 TD's. I think we have to BEAT SC. Stats will not matter. That is the signature game. The best player wills his team to win the best games. He will not win the Heisman if we lose to SC. He is more likely to win with a loss in a shootout scenario with a Pitt or MSU, than losing to U$C.
