If anybody could get the information from IrishIllustrated's practice report, it would be appreciated.

Pretty much the same things as day 1

Jimmy looks much bigger, closer to Crist.

Watt, Bullard and Martin got some good feedback from Verducci who was hard on the o-lineman all day

Shaq Evans looks as good or better physically as Goodman and Walker

Te'o looks like a senior.

etc etc

And the humidity?...

And the humidity?...

Well I'm from Northern Indiana, I moved to New Mexico a few years ago. In July here we had 90+ (even a few 100+) 29 out of 31 days. So I don't think 2-3 days a whole summer is something to complain about. Now it's August and everyday so far been 93-95 degrees.

Try living somewhere it's 90+ for 4-5 months a year not a few days a year.........

The only advantage to where you live is the sweat just
evaporates...Tom

* What's the deal with the visors? In order to wear them, the players who requested them must be cleanshaven and must keep their hair short.

* Today was the first of five padless practices. Tomorrow, they'll be wearing "shells" and knee braces. Thursday is the first of the two-a-day practices, and the first day of full pads.

* Carlo Calabrese is only slightly smaller than Manti Te'o, at 235 pounds.

* Brandon Newman is in much better physical condition than he was last season.

* Verducci is really making the offensive line work hard. After the players hit the sleds for the first time, he waited "no more than a split second" before having the lineman go up and hit it again.

* Jimmy Clausen could not determine which way the wind was blowing. This is important in the passing game.

* Clausen's bulked up.

* Evans is just as big as Walker and Goodman. However, he isn't comfortable during drills.

* Michael Floyd is a "specimen".

I'm not complaining, just commenting that it has been the coolest summer I've ever experienced and the day practice started, it got up to the high 90s.... besides, we have to put up with -35 with the windchill in January and 30+ days of 0 degrees... as you already know if you are from Northern IN.

id love to know about today's practice if anyone has some info.thanks.

Sometimes in my paranoid mind I think posters who ask a question like this are either "spies" or writers or other media with an agenda. lol. That's just me though, and I am, in fact, a reindeer. TDHeysus "outed" me with a compromising pic on another thread. I hope Faline doesn't see it.

Otherwise, I check this thread out everyday for new info. lol. Keep the posts coming buddy, and keep the fire.

Not as long as Golden "I can twist my body round like a pretzel" Tate is on the field.

Aww, common guys, group hug. Make the new guy feel comfortable.

CTF,

Are those your observations or tidbits from articles?

this is encouraging to hear...keep them out of thier comfort zone. this isnt Club K-Fed.

to quote The Emperor "Everything is going as I have foreseen it....you have done well Lord Vader"

I didnt see this as an 'outing' persay...more a showing of nature taking its own course :D

6 pounds is not much for a football player to put on in the off season but I like that Jimmy is putting it on slow so he does not get too bulky to quick!

he could have lost 10lbs fat, and then added 16lbs of muscle......

Boy I do remember those cold days, but I also forgot what it feels like to be that cold again. Our cold days are 40 degrees....... I couldn't go back to that cold weather now for anything.... I grew up 25 miles from Notre Dame........
