Yeah, that's a very fair article, and I can't find much to complain about. I think we'll be better than they do, but until ND proves it on the field, #24 is very fair...

On the opponent ranking I'd move Pitt and Stanford ahead of Michigan which I believe has better talent but more problems and I'd move Nevada ahead of Connecticut. The Brownless Huskies will struggle mightily.

Yeah I think that is a fair statement. UofM has many problems that are probably gonna take this whole season to smooth out. Such as a true freshman QB. I also think their secondary is gonna look pretty confused much of the season.

#24 is where we should be at, if we were to be ranked at all to start. We did prove we could win a good amount of games, but also loose a couple of games we should have won. WE just have to take the first ranking in a few seasons and move forward in the rankings every week.

Where they rank ND and where they rank ND's opponents don't jive. If ND loses to USC and 3 of the other guys they don't belong to be ranked.
