As many of you know, the Linebacker Lounge has long been a favorite bar of many Notre Dame students, alumni, and fans. The Backer, as it is commonly known, is in a competition to win America's best college bar. Please go to the website below and vote for the Linebacker Lounge. We are currently up against Clemson's Esso Club. Just as Clemson's football team is consistently overrated, so is their bar and we must not let them win.

Been there a few times. My lady hates it because it's smoky and you're packed like sardines on weekend nights, especially during football season. Her friends used to go when they were in college and she hated it. But the first time I went I made her take me. She wasn't lying...that place gets PACKED. But I loved it. Had some brews, danced, bumped into people left and right, but it was a good time.

No when I go back to SB to visit her family (usually it's the offseason), I like to go during the day, by myself, and have a few brews and talk ND football with the old-timers. It's just a normal bar from the outside, kinda ugly actually, but I love the place. You can feel the nastalgia. They have signs all over the place on the outside about smoking being prohibited, but damn, it is very smoky in there! (I'm not a smoker.) Goes with the territory. If you go to SB, you have to check out the 'Backer...
