GH, DD, and IE (Hey Jason)

Yo Jason, I see you got busted up by IUB over there at GH. I saw that you were posting over there, and I was going to warn you, but then I just read that last post in the Shaw thread. LOL.

Let me school you about the ND boards from what I have read. Everybody reads the same boards. Around here, everyone reads DD, GH, and IrishEnvy (IE), although everyone who posts at all 3 sites will deny that they do, even the 'big wigs' at GH.

Now, the guys at DD are really welcoming, and if you post there (I don't), they'll welcome you with open arms. Maybe they don't have info at lightning speed, but they are in it for the right reasons.

However, the main guys at GH are friggin' message board snobs of the highest order. IUB's response to you is a shining example. They are not in it for the sake of ND, they are in it for the sake and the glory of themselves. They pat their backs and toot their horns whenever they can (I think they one of them nutted when one of IUB's posts was sourced by a poster on ISD - no lie), and they LOVE to rip DD and IE any chance they get. To be honest, it's kinda funny, seeing these grown men (supposedly) rip these other boards for not being as 'great' as them. It's beyond immature, but as IUB says, 'that's how they roll over there'.

The truth is, IUB does some fantastic work. Maniacally fantastic work, and he's a credit to their site. I read his stuff, because he knows what he's talking about when it comes to recruiting. But he's also a snobbish, elitist prick, at least that's what he shows in his posts. Instead of PM'ing you and letting you know how things work over there (that is, any info regarding recruiting is his territory LOL), he punked you for all to see. That's how they roll dude. And that's why you see very few new posters posting there. Very unwelcoming.

Now, there are several people here who post in GH as well, like ND23, Dayton, Wicked, etc. Sorry if this offends you, you guys seem really cool. But it's the truth. I could go into their archives and show you the shit they talk. Go ahead and rip me, neg rep me, whatever. But I've seen for a long time, and it's quite stupid, the way such a prestigious, intelligent university could produce such snobbish fans that care more about taking credit than about the actual news.

I could on and on about this crap, especially the stealing of info from paid sites onto free sites and claiming it as their own (happens all the time), but it's time to eat. GH guys, feel free to respond and school me otherwise. Peace...

WTF i wanted to spread some Irish love and this guy busts my balls on the main room. I sent him a message on it in his private message because he is an administrator, but what a dick. Most of the info i share is from Rivals and other sites but i never claim its from me unless its on Cali kids because i know alot of football players out here. I wouldnt be surprised if i get banned just for putting my two cents in.

I am looking at that post and I do not see how that is rough towards Jason? He does that to everyone not just the newbies. He is a good guy that is strictly business in the recruiting and football forums, and then will fool around in the off topic section. It might seem harsh but its not. He just likes to keep the board nice and clean, with no false or repetitive info.

What false or repetitive info? He said i dont read threads which i do. IUB was the one saying that Shaw would commit to USC on the spot if offered and i knew that was false, Josh has alot of love for the Irish. He called me out on the main board and i showed him his quote. Then he says im repetitive, but how can my opinion of a player i have seen be repetitive if i joined today? I only came in contact with 2 guys over there, butthat is quite an impression he made. I thought BGIF took things too seriously, but at least he doesn't talk to me like a jackass, and he admits when he is wrong. Now i understand a mod being upset if a icall out false info he put out, but gimme a break

I have the same name at GH but very rarely post there. It didn't take long to realize the difference between the two sites. I along with a few others I know feel much more welcome here.

I have been on both sites a little while now, I have never seen GH have any late breaking news that hasn't been on this site. Just try and remember that these sites are all that some people have to do and they take it waaaaaay to seriously.

Interesting topic. I joined IE a while back as told from a couple of buddies I went to school with about this site. I am still here, so I must enjoy it. Along the way, my friends told me about GH and DD. To put it short, they made donation to GH and have not been back since. I guarantee they will have a field day with this thread and are cutting on Jason as we speak. I bet can go over there and find the mod you are speaking of making a crack on Jason. Each site has its good and bad. I like DD, I don't post, just read and they are very friendly. GH is like the old alumni section at the games. IE is like the student section. Funny, I know a lot of GH posters use to post here. So I am glad someone bought it up. We all have the same goal and this is what is important. As far as information goes, every site has the same info within 5 minutes.

The Owner of GH is the former owner and creator of IE... a lot of the people who run GH now are the same people who made IE great to begin with... those of us who are or have run IE recently have tried hard to keep the peace... I am sorry you felt attacked Jason... that should not have happened... to my knowledge IUB and others at GH are stand up Irish fans

I will say it would be great if dialogues such as these were to take place in PM for the most part... that way a one on one soultion can possibly be reached without bringing in tons of other posters and opinions that at times only feed the flames... we are all Irish fans after all and the in fighting just seems silly...
