I thought this would be an interesting topic....Its really a hard decision...We need a dominant DL and OL...It also wouldn't hurt to have a playmaking MLB...I'm going to have to go with this.

1. OT Andre Smith ALA...Kid clearly is a beast...I've never seen an OT dominate as much as he does since Orlando Pace..He is a viscious run blocker and good pass blocker. He would help our run game immensely...

2. DT B.J Raji BC..he is the run stuffing type of NT we are in dire need of. He is explosive. He manhandled just about anybody that got in his way. He not only clogs up holes but he also had 11.5 sacks!

3. WR Percy Harvin FL...I just think this kid is the most explosive playmaker in college football and it would be fun to see what he could do at ND. I can't leave him off the list. He can change a game very fast.

Honorable mention...Malcom Jenkins OSU, Matthew Stafford UGA, Brian Orakpo Tex, Rey Maluaga USC

I'll take the DT. We need that bad. If our lines were great, the skill players really wouldn't make that much of a difference.

Percy and Crabtree are leaving right?

If the stipulations are we can pick anyone regardless if they are coming back next year, and if its based on what we need

I would select Andre Smith or BJ Raji. I know they aren't the pretty picks, but I feel like if we had a dominant OL or DL we would have done ok. Give Jimmy time, which we were better than last year but not great, and get pressure on the QB for the good LB and DB we have and I think we could have been better. Just a though.

My man crush says Taylor Mays(hating usc) would be awesome to have on a team.

Gerald McCoy, Taylor Mays if its only players coming back.

I feel like we have WR's, RB's, QB's, CB's, LB's....that's just a though though.

Tebow is 400% heart. I figure we could spread that around on our team.

Eric Berry is a beast...I wish that "thing" didn't happen with McCoy a few years back, he would have helped tremendously if he was here.

Your list is basically a who's who of who'll be drafted, so none of them would be eligible to play at ND anyways. So I'll play it where they'd have to be coming back for college next year:

1. Tim Tebow - who else? Yeah, he's overexposed, but name a bigger winner in college sports alive today. And listen, I'm as big a fan of Jimmy's as you'll see, but QB is the single most important position in football, and Tebow is a friggin college stud.

2. Taylor Mays - I'm not sure ND fans grasp how freakin' special this guys is. I mean, he's the fastest guy on USC, as a safety. He's a Lambourghini on a team of cheetahs. And he's also the hardest hitter on their team, even harder of a hitter than Malauga and Cushing. The guy's a beast. We'd have won 2 more games this year IMO if he was our safety. My Lord, I'm scared shitless for Tate and Floyd, not to mention any newbies that dare try to come down the middle next year.

I meant from this past year. I should have made it more clear!!

Out of curiosity: How does one define "heart", and measure it at 400%?

Quite simple my good man.

He is saying that Tebow has a genetic abnomality to the muscle that is responsible for pumping blood through the human body. Tebow's problem has caused his heart to grow four sizes to large, one moreso than even the Grinch. One day, this enlarged heart will burst and kill him. It is sad, but true.

I'm going to say, Golden Tate. I love the way that guy plays ball, and we're lucky to have him. If everyone on our team played with the passion Golden Tate does, we would have been in a BCS game this year.

I think that Michal Floyd is one of the brightest young stars and next year everyone is going to want him on their team.

Golden is great and Jimmy will be really good. I think if we have to choose one player it would be Taylor Mays, cause he is the best and we could really use him. Really though this is all fantasy and in my opinion we have all the tools we need to be successful.

'09 is going to be a great year so lets all say a prayer for Manti and McCoy that would make us a complete team in my opinion!!!!!!!!!!
