Why in the fuck do we keep running the ball when Syracuse has 8-9 guys in the box? Terrible playcalling once again by Charlie Weis. Terrible football against one of the worst teams in college football. This team has got a LONG way to go.

i made a bet with my father in law before the game that charlie would call 25 screen plays and i'm sitting pretty right now.

oline and fullback need to get their shit together. they are playing terribly, missed assignments inability to block the man in front of them complete inability to reach block anyone. fullback barely getting his hat on anyone.

it would also be nice if they would hold a block or drive someone downfield a little bit. no they block for 2 seconds and let em go kill the rb.

i am very annoyed thus far with this unit.

As sad as it appears (short throws I mean) Clausen is making some good decisions. If we don't get the run game going we won't move the ball. Everytime we go to that spread set Syracuse is dropping safeties back to stop the deep ball.

It's not the second half yet and I'm sorta getting tired of hammond and haden always talking or half the nation talking about how notre dame always gets everyones best shot.
crap syracuse has put up some decent points on the teams they have played and for the most part 75% of the teams they have played are probably better then notre dame also.

akron is a toss-up
