Well if it's one of our rivals...it narrows it to USC, Michigan, BC, and maybe Miami...if we consider them a rival anymore.


i guess Pitt, MSU, and Stanford are considered rivals as well.

I consider Florida a rival...cuz of the disdain I have for Meyer...call it a "recruiting rival." I say no more..but he is from a position of need...heard news might be coming this weekend if in fact this is true...fingers crossed, you never know with these kids.

Nothing is confirmed...just a rumor..not 100% just something I've been hearing...if it is true, we'll probably know by the weekend..

Hahaha just remembering last year with the other "recruit" (i think it was EJ Woods... someone correct me if im wrong) from ucla that was supposedly coming here.

Well if he doesn't come our way, i still want to know who it is after the weekend.

i heard it was some 3* guard from florida possibly. just what i have read on other boards. no idea if it holds any truth

I was told today that someone is indeed coming...nothing is to be said until his travel plans are arranged, you will find out on Saturday.

In another thread it looks like you are on the Gator Bowl committee and here you are a recruiting insider? Any leads on winning lotto numbers?

i dont see the fuss if it is a guard. i mean we have been solid at recruiting interior lineman

just because the recruiting sites peg someone in at guard doesn't mean they can't play tackle. even if it were a guard prospect, consider that someone currently on the roster at guard could move to tackle. Turkovich played guard last year, and this year moved to LT. he's done a pretty good job, and i doubt many people were expecting him to do this well at probably the most important O-line position.

I understand what you mean, but I think the staff will do well if they build up depth with the best talent they can get. the players will develop over their 4-year careers.

Not being rude. You should have seen what happened to a guy who came on here claiming to be a former ND kicker. Whether he was or not, it came across as total BS. If you don't provide evidence and just claim to be "close to the organization" it sounds completely contrived and, quite frankly, like you are full of shit. Lots of people get on the internet and claim to be something they are not. Happens all the time. So don't be shocked if a few people call you out when you don't bring any evidence or anything of substance. Just do some research and find out what kind of stuff "Kopka" had to put up with. If you have some basis for your claims, great. If not, you are doing nothing to help the flow of info.

Here's the deal, if I get inside info, I can't be precise as to who and where I got the info from, it only ruins my credibility with them, I am more concerened with their trust than yours...

You don't have to take it as truth if you don't want, just take it as more rumors just like everyone else on this board...no harm in any of that.
