Look, it's early, and ND has been moving the ball. Sometimes you have to call plays that you know your team doesn't execute very well, just to keep the defense honest. This is not Coach Holtz's ND. We're not going to gain 7 or 8 yards on every play.

We've hit rock bottom. 3rd and 4 and Jimmy dives forward for 2 yards. That is having no confidence in the offensive. If I see Robert Hughes run the ball outside again today, I'm turning my television off (assuming the fires don't knock out my power beforehand).
