So, you're saying that he's NOT a great recruiter? Or are you saying that he's not a great coach? I mean, are you saying we have talent and that he can't coach, or are you saying that we don't have talent (which in turn makes it impossible for anyone to be a 'good coach' w/ no talent)? I mean, pick one.
NO talent on the field? So Floyd has no talent? 5-star recruit, absolute stud. Tate? Stud. Clausen? Number one recruit in the nation, and sorry buddy, he's s soph putting up some huge numbers even though he has zero running game. Future star. B. Smith making plays. Cierre Wood and Shaq Evans on their way.
Dude, when you say things like he's not good at recruiting, you just reinforce the notion that you know nothing about football.
And hey buddy, sorry, but Rivals and Scout are pretty much IT when it comes to scouting services. Lord knows we don't want to count on guys like you, who says guys like Floyd are showing their talent on the field, to assess our recruiting.
I've said in many other posts I'm a CW backer. He deserves to take some heat; it's his team that looked crappy on Friday. It's my opinion that if he's fired after this year we will have to start all over and we'll have to regress before we get better (learning new systems will do that to you). And sorry, Lou Holtz is not walking through that door fellas. Big name coaches aren't dying to come to ND, unfortunately.
CW deserves 2009, if not just for his recruiting prowess, midwestguy. Not a good recruiter? Are you kidding me? Do you even have a clue of how hard it is to get top football athletes to come to SB? His list of potential recruits is sooooo much shorter than Nick Satan's and Urban Liar's et al. It's so sad that you have to say outlandish, stupid things just to get attention. Are you an only child? You know, it makes sense now that you like Mark May. You guys are basically the same. Hey man, relax, Jesus loves you, he'll give you all the attention you need.
