Who wins the title this year?

I see 3/4 losses for ND this year.

Given the pathetic debacle at the collosseum by my beloved team, I'll root for a USC vs. SEC matchup. Hopefully Florida. I say Florida because I think they are the team to beat in the SEC.

Oklahoma is who I want to win it. Too much offense and a good enough defense. USC will probably win it though.

U$C. I'd love to see them not, but after last night, who could beat them? Maybe Dirty Sanchez will be more injured than we thought. He was kinda gimpy. I think he is already better than Booty (I thought he kinda sucked), and that's not a good sign. I'd be happy with Georgia winning it, as opposed to UF, U$C, etc.

I say USC as well. I don't think anyone in the SEC is going to come out unscathed from that schedule, so I will put SC against OU or Mizzou.

How ND will win the NC this year. ND wins all ther games up to the USC game, and USC dominates in their games this season. USC is number 1 at that time. ND wins the USC game (no Reggie Bush push this time!) ND is then in the NC game (who? perhaps someone from the SEC?)ND wins that game. If you're going to dream, might as well dream big!

I think it will be Oklahoma. They can match up well against USC in the title game, and certainly have the talent to pull it off. Plus, an interesting thing I think we'll see is even though Ohio State was #5 and supposedly better than us, they got crushed. I bet when we meet up with USC, we play them considerably tougher than anyone thinks we will (shades of the Bush Push game) or we shock the world and beat them.

USC just on the basis of recruited talent. If I had to make
a second choice, it would be Oklahoma because of their stats.

I'm guessing OU and USC will be undefeated and play in the national championship, if a team from the SEC goes undefeated then they will be in the NC. I don’t think any team in the SEC can make it through without a loss though, there are just too many tough games.

I tend to agree with the OU/USC matchup at the end of the year, based on performance and team strength. SEC will beat on each other and factor themselves out of a championship appearance.
