Is there anything better than getting ND tickets?

I go every year. I was at the 05 USC game, which was devastating and thrilling at the same time. Last year I went to USC, Air Force and Duke. Yes, Air Force and Duke, which just goes to show you it doesnt matter the record nor the opponent. Gameday in South Bend is special regardless.

I have seen the Irish @ south bend 3 times, @ Neyland Stadium twice, and @ baltimore once. I hate watching games at Neyland because of all the puke orange but that stadium is huge but it fails in comparison to Notre Dame Stadium- There are no better venues to watch a game than at ND.

Home games at Neyland look like a garbage truck dirver convention.

me too, I just do not have the money to pay a broker $140 for a ticket.

I paid 125 for my first nd ticket in knoxville, the next time i paid 110 in knoxville. The two times I went to south bend I paid about 120. The best deal I got on tickets were 45 dollars for 50 yd line tickets when ND played at baltimore ravens stadium versus Navy. Paul Johnson got my tickets for me that year, I called him too late when I went to ND to watch them play so we were on our own. this year we got our tickets for 65 a piece for the syracuse game. I was lucky enough to get all of our 5 tickets together this year.

what is the best way to get ND tickets cheaply?

We got our tickets off of und.cstv.com- they had a lot of tickets this year for 65 a piece. We tried to get tickets for the pitt game but couldn't get any seats together, so we opted for the syracuse game. before this year I bought off ebay and got a decent deal. Stub Hubb also has tickets but they can get pretty high. Ebay is your best bet, you'll probably beat 140 with them if you choose someone like syracuse.

I called the ND ticket office the other day. There are still a few 'single tix' available for the Syracuse game only. If you wanted to sit w/ a family member or friend you're SOL. I was wanting to go to a home game, but only if my son and I could sit together. Oh well, there's always the comfy of home watching on big screen w/ the beer, food and pisser within a few steps of my recliner.

I ran into the same problem, I could've got 5 tickets for the pitt game but all the tickets were singles and my son and cousin are too young to sit alone. Plus we aren't driving over 600 miles one way to not share the experience. Our Syracuse tickets are together, 2 seats right behind the 3 seats. For the first time I will be right behind the student section, that will be great seats I believe, has anyone ever sit near the student section?

I haven't, but my lady was a student who always attended the games (she was at the "bushpush"), and she LOVED it. So last year at the USC game we snuck over there for a quarter just so I could experience it. It was awesome, even though I'm sure the students would've been even more jacked up had we not got our butts handed to us. Just be prepared, if you are immediately behind the students, to stand up because they are standing and cheering the whole time.

On a quick tangent, ND has only 8,000 undergrads, while a school like Tennessee has over 20,000 undergrads. For only having such a limited #, those students do a hell of a job. Students, usually being the loudest fans, give those larger schools such an advantage, but I give props to the ND student body for doing what they can to make the stadium louder...

You're right about the student body but you also need to give props to the average fan too. That place gets rockin!!!!

I know I'm right behind there section but I'm not sure if I'm close enough to have to stand when they do or not. When I watch the Irish I could stand the whole game so it really doesn't matter to me. If they started crowd surfing I think I'll throw my son down there.

I been to ND stadium once. I believed they played Oregon Ducks. It was a blowout.
I saw ND last yr at raven's stadium, and watched them get there butt's kicked against Navy.
Now im going to see them both again, same location but hopefully an ND win.

I would say the only thing topping being at ND on gameday would be going to heaven!
My wife and I try to attend one game a year. Luckily she was able to get 2 tickets for the Pitt game.
