nothing beats a good blumpkin
I have seen the Irish @ south bend 3 times, @ Neyland Stadium twice, and @ baltimore once. I hate watching games at Neyland because of all the puke orange but that stadium is huge but it fails in comparison to Notre Dame Stadium- There are no better venues to watch a game than at ND.
me too, I just do not have the money to pay a broker $140 for a ticket.
what is the best way to get ND tickets cheaply?
I ran into the same problem, I could've got 5 tickets for the pitt game but all the tickets were singles and my son and cousin are too young to sit alone. Plus we aren't driving over 600 miles one way to not share the experience. Our Syracuse tickets are together, 2 seats right behind the 3 seats. For the first time I will be right behind the student section, that will be great seats I believe, has anyone ever sit near the student section?
I haven't, but my lady was a student who always attended the games (she was at the "bushpush"), and she LOVED it. So last year at the USC game we snuck over there for a quarter just so I could experience it. It was awesome, even though I'm sure the students would've been even more jacked up had we not got our butts handed to us. Just be prepared, if you are immediately behind the students, to stand up because they are standing and cheering the whole time.
On a quick tangent, ND has only 8,000 undergrads, while a school like Tennessee has over 20,000 undergrads. For only having such a limited #, those students do a hell of a job. Students, usually being the loudest fans, give those larger such an advantage, but I give props to the ND student body for doing what they can to make the stadium louder...
Who needs tickets?!? Do you like I did and become an usher! I can't wait, my first official game in 8 days!!!! For those of you, I am a gate tender at Gate A and then move up to Section 101 at kick off. Come up and say hey if you like!
