I have been seeing alot of lists latley on some web sites like bng and rivals, and scout. They are counting down different things about nd football-the top plays, the way we match up to other teams at certain positions etc. So i wanted to start a list of our own by counting the top 100 reasons we love nd football. Im just askn for your opinion and ask that you number you reason and read all previous numbers so as we don't have any doubles. I know that we can fill up this list no problem, we just have to have fun and work together. These don't have to be numbered as of importance, just what is important to you

#100-nd campus on game day

#98 We'd rather go 0-12 the right way then win a national title the wrong way... if you win at all costs you'll never be a winner

97. Being a part of the Notre Dame community is more than just rooting for a football program, but having a real sense of belonging to a story bigger than any one of us, a story which spans over a century of excellence, tradition, and winning, and, against the many wrongs of those around us, a story that represents what is right.

Because ND is the only campus that fans say "if only we could get the recruits to visit (espcially with their parents) then we should have a good chance at landing them", yes, it really is that magical

#75 Because in 1982 at 3 months old my grandmother and mother dressed me in a Property of N.D. outfit for my 3 month old pictures. Since then my heart has been "property of N.D.

# 74 As I grew up We would go to my grandparents on Saturdays to watch the Irish Play. Then and still do this day my grandmother would run around the house and scream, jump, yell, and cry when the Irish were playing. Be it a good thing or a bad thing I inherited most of that passion for the Irish from her.

#73 Because my first ever ND game was in South Bend in mid 90's when they played USC (who was then ranked #5, we were unranked). My dad and I tried to scalp tickets but couldn't find any less than $250. My dad told me that ND was a magical place and that after the third time of walking around the stadium we would finally get tickets. God must have been performing miracles that day because right as we made the 3rd turn a guy sold us tickets on the field at face value, I was able to run out on the field after the game and touch Derrick Mayes, oh yeah, and ND destroyed USC. Most famous series was USC in goal line formation and 4 times ND stuffed them to get the ball back, AMAZING!

#72 Because ND could claim more titles but doesn't... we don't need too...

Because the 11 titles we calim are agreed upon by everyone... ND is NOT a school like say Bama or SC who claim 3-4 more titles than ANYONE outside thier own campus gives them credit for... I always loved that
