That probably has more to do with David Cutcliffe than Kevin White. I would like to see Duke become a real player in ACC football.

Yeah, it's not Dr. White doing that. Heck Cutcliffe was already at Duke before White got named their AD.

True, but Duke has been in the basement of the conference for quite some time now. I wouldn't mind seeing them shake things up a little.

Obviously, But every one plays their own part. I know White made himself available many many times to meet recruits at ND. I assume a recruit would be impressed when a guy of his stature went out of his way to meet them.

Dr. White is not even there in Durham right now. He actually starts next week on Aug. 4th!

He was on a little vacation to the West Coast to visit his son Danny and their new grandchild.

I am accountable, I have infractions just as you do. If you're being an asshole I'll call you out on it and accept the concequences. I've also paid my time here and didn't pick fights with the mods.

You can actually thank David Cutcliffe...he's a great coach and a great guy. If anyone can turn around Duke, it's him.

if he keeps recruiting like that, they should be an above .500 team in a couple of years. and while that doesn't sound like much, Duke wins on average about 3 games every 2-3 years.

i personally would prefer a college football without perrenial doormats. many of you guys have read my crazy BCS idea that would kick doormats like Baylor and Minnesota and Vanderbilt down a level so that teams in non-BCS confs (like Utah, Boise State and HI) could increase the overal strenght of BCS football. Duke is also on that list, but if they turn it around, great.
