I had no idea that Oregan was expected to be that good this year. Didn't they get boat raced by Indiana in the playoffs?
Yes but that was last year. Their defense should be elite with many thinking they have the best dline in the country. They also are loaded on offense with Moore coming back, strong backs/wrs. A lot of returning starters. I'd still take Carr over Moore any day of the week, but Lanning's Ducks are stacked this year.

Us, Oregon, Texas, Miami, and Ohio State are the top 5 imo. Will accept Indiana if you are a “to be the man, you got to beat the man” type

Freeman, Ash and Partridge appear firmly entrenched here on landing Parks. If they do, great. If not, that's that. They're not cashing in and walking away. You've come this far, it's mid July and they show zero signs of pivoting.

J Hop on the Oregon site said Oregon feels their fading

This recruitment feels like... Oregon is really far from home and there are a ton of people in Parks' life that are in ND's corner, including Igwebuike (his teammate) and Folorunsho, both of whom he trains with in Chicago. The NIL offers are probably similar and pretty well a non-factor in the decision because of that. Every trip to Oregon is one that Parks enjoys thoroughly, but the pull to stay home is tempting and the comfort level with ND is high. Notre Dame also has an incredibly good recruiting class and is getting lots of national championship hype, meaning they're constantly at the forefront of discussions.

All of that is probably just slowly pulling Parks to ND like a tractor beam that he just can't seemingly escape from.
