I’m no expert but he looked every bit the part for the most the game. In the 4th however RHS had him and the rest of the team on roller skates. We just ran out of time on the 12 and they forced the turnover on downs.

22-15 final. Was marching to tie it up within 2 minutes but FC forced a turnover on downs.

FC/RHS typically play it close.

Was going to go, but ended up not making it. Found out from the family chat it was streaming on YouTube. I saw FC throw the winning TD and Roncalli’s final drive. A couple of PI’s helped the Rebels get moving. Thought they were going to tie it up until a couple of defensive plays sealed the deal.

It’s a good neighborhood rivalry.

I’ve got to believe this is a kid who, with the new xfer portal in Indiana, will not finish his career at FC. Warren isn’t too far away…

No worries. I’m just pointing out that WC isn’t all that desired as one might think.

As noted, all the good teammates went to Cathedral and I (my dad) chose an L path (2 high schools). Point being, none of us ended up at Warren.

Which made it all so much more sweet when we’d always whoop Cathedral. Oh, they hated me, but couldn’t beat me. Have to gloat that a little bit while on topic. 😘

Good player. During the BK era I feel like he might have been a take for Elston. I'm confident that either he or Emedobi, the other in state Edge would have. Freeman is just recruiting as such an insane level right now that these guys don't look impressive, but don't be surprised if Brewer emerges as a good player down the road for Michigan.
