Beat me to it.

Titus makes it very clear, in his tape, that he loves to block. There were many times in his tape that a poor DB was getting dumped on their ass. He shows good ball skills when the ball is in the air. He definitely has that "bull in a China shop" running style, and appears to be a nightmare for DBs to tackle in the open field. I think he would complement someone like Ian Premer perfectly in 12 personnel. I think it'd be tough to find 10 tight ends better than him in the 2027 class

Didn't realize he is 6'7". Throw him a jump ball in the end zone, and it will be a touchdown or DPI every time.

Plays basketball and baseball (seriously but not MLB seriously it seems) so likely hasn’t added weight in the off-season due to that.

Just got to watching him on tape too.

Might've just found my new candidate for favorite 27 recruit. You gotta love that his first few plays on his highlight tape is him blocking and absolutely destroying guys at the first and second level. He's obviously very different from Dollar in regards to the type of athlete that he is, but there is absolutely no reason to not be excited about him being a part of the class. Based on the way that Denbrock is using TE's now, he will fit in perfect and be a total advantage on the field. Not sure he'll win a ton of 1 on 1's, but he seems to have a decent understanding of where to be in zone coverage and is reliable enough catching the ball that he can move the sticks and be a weapon in the red zone. Not that it was required, but he definitely gets my seal of approval. With the game trending into more 13 personnel, he's the type of kid that could surprise some people and end up on the field pretty early due to his willingness to block.

Honestly, I'm not sure why every school wouldn't want this kid. I know he's not the flashy flexed out Y option, but literally with his size, physicality, and desire to block he's going to make your team better. Plus he doesn't appear to be the type of dude that thinks he needs the ball. He'll be happy to be on the field just blocking and helping the offense score.

He sounds like a good compliment to Premer/Fryzel.

Bingo. Dollar is a better player than Hawk. But we need a Y TE who can be on the line similar to Cooper F. Would be a nice compliment to last year's group
Depends on what you're asking him to do. Dollar is a better athlete, and I think is asked to do things a bit different than Hawk is in his offense. Dollar, more of a weapon in the passing game. Hawk, a better weapon in the run game. IMO we have our Dollar in Premer so find our in line guy that is going to block his ass off.

Dude, that's what I said lol. A Y TE means on the line. H/F is the off-ball TE. More Premer/Fryzel

I guess you saying Dollar is "better" is what led me to my response. Idk if i'd say he's better based on the fact they're asked to do different things. Dollar is more exciting on tape, but Hawk does more of the dirty work and I would argue fills his role just as well as Dollar. However, I may be biased b/c obviously he's looking to be in our class and Dollar aint
