Add Neimann Lawrence 2028 QB to the list, big time guy that will most likely get an offer this weekend

Evans lit up Irish Invasion, I sure hope we continue to make an impression on him.

and former coach Kelly said that the irish had to shop down a different isle in regards to recruiting
Brian Kelly had to shop down a different aisle because he's an arrogant prick that doesn't relate particularly well with young people and was a net negative to the overall recruiting effort in some years. Notre Dame was not and is not the problem. That said, we're talking extremes here, because Marcus Freeman's intangibles and recruiting prowess likely boost Notre Dame higher than even an above average recruiter would. He probably a top 3 recruiter in the nation.

Kelly was more of an Instacart shopper that hated going to the store in general.

Interesting the lack of west coasters. Love to see recruiting has picked up in Texas, and ND all in down south.

This set up is more about getting in the race with some, and getting locked into an official with others. Not saying there couldn’t be one random that pops, but this is a building block visit weekend, not so much a closing weekend.

Not going to copy Matt's entire article from ISD, but obviously the weekend was very successful. Irish building great momentum to lock in officials with their top targets. Liking what I'm reading about Neimann Lawrence, sounds like we're more in it than i thought.

Just read it myself. Freeman and staff have learned and are really getting the hang of this.

Definitely not a weekend I expect a bunch of 2027 verbals from given the quality of players that were on campus, but if ND can use this weekend to plant themselves in a bunch of top 3s and secure late spring / in season official visits, this weekend would be a huge win!
